"Update: We haven't requested a refund by, not in that area too often, but we appreciate that the owner replied & wants to make it right. We will give it another try when we're in the area. Thank you. Ordered two burritos, both beans, rice, veggies without sour cream and cheese. Took a long time to get our food, about 25 minutes, but in fairness, it was a weeknight right at 5:00pm. There were no chips in the bin, someone asked at the counter, and they did refill them though. Cucumber relish was almost empty - 3 slices left. Cabbage relish almost empty, about one tablespoon was left. Several salsas available on the same cart. We only tried pico & green sauce, both were good. Got our burritos, drove all the way home, 25 minutes - family member bit into his burrito, it had chicken, sour cream, and cheese in it. Second burrito had just beans and rice, but also cheese and sour cream. We had to throw them both away, nothing for dinner and at $11 or 12 a piece, really upset that we wasted so much money. Bottles of Jarritos were the only things we got that was as we ordered, and yes, they're bottled soda. We were going to call the restaurant to tell them how disappointed we were, but it was late, had to get to bed, just not worth it. We weren't going to drive all the way back there for a redo. We really wanted to like this place, been looking for a really good Mexican restaurant for a while, but this wasn't it. Great for people without lactose issues, who eat meat. That's not us."

"Taqueria Azteca is straight-up fire! We ordered their Big Taco, and holy moly, it's like a burrito in your hand. And don't even get me started on their Mexican Pizza - it's a flavor explosion that'll make your taste buds dance. But wait, there's more! Their Birria Tamales are little pockets of happiness filled with tender meat. And their Boba Horchata? Creamy goodness with those chewy boba pearls. And if you're into tangy drinks, their Micheladas are where it's at. Seriously, if you're in the mood for some killer Mexican grub, check out Taqueria Azteca. Their Big Taco, Mexican Pizza, Birria Tamales, Boba Horchata, and Micheladas will have you drooling for more. It's a legit fiesta for your taste buds! Lots of parking in the area too. Indoor and outdoor tables & chairs as well. There's a room for everyone."

"Oct 10, 2023: Food * Service **** Atmosphere *** Was in the area and decided to try some seafood items. I'm going to preface that the IG reels are way over hyped for this place, and I think they are under new management. My meal was $32 with a drink, tax and 10% tip. Sadly, I was very disappointment in my visit today and will not be returning. I started with the combination seafood cocktail at $18. It had shrimp, scallops, octopus, fish, mussels, and imitation crab. Everything except for the shrimp were inedible. Octopus and crab were hard & chewy, fish & scallops were uncooked and slimy. It wasn't spoiled, but rather frozen and not of any quality....so bad I spit it out! (I am writing this review while still in the restaurant, and I hope I don't get sick. Hopefully, all the lime that I squeezed into this cocktail prior killed anything questionable.) Also, ordered one crispy fish and shrimp taco at $ each. All of the ingredients were fresh, however the shrimp was not cooked all the way. It was still raw in the middle and left it somewhat chewy. The shell was crispy and topped with fresh shredded lettuce, cilantro, and pico de gallo. Good portion size, yet both the fish and the prawns had no seasoning, therefore I felt the need to add their in-house salsa and Tapatío. _____________ March 2023: Food *** Service **** Atmosphere *** I often come here for their pozole and menudo. More recently , there's been a lot of hype on Instagram regarding their birria, and there are a couple of new items added to the menu, therefore I brought a GF for dinner, because she was craving the ramen rib bone birria. She enjoyed it, but it didn't look anything like in the vids on IG. We also ordered the bacon fries (just ok), fried tilapia with fries (just ok, crispy yet dry), and the horchata with whipped cream (less impressive than on IG). I'll still continue to go back, because I do love their pozole & menudo, however I'm tempted to try their other items, especially in their seafood selection. Unfortunately, this visit was a "miss" for me, thus the 3 stars."
