"Pricing and service is fine. Would be 5 stars if not for the issue below. This problem I had will not apply to the typical customer, but the lack of knowledge and common sense was disappointing. My car has aftermarket wheel studs to replace lug nuts, which makes it easier to change wheels. They refused to torque my wheel studs to the appropriate torque (85 ft lbs). They insisted on using the manufacturer's torque spec (105 ft lbs) even though I wasn't using manufacturer lug nuts. The tech even acknowledged that it made no sense, but he had to follow the rules. Wheel studs work differently than lug nuts and take different torque specs since they are only responsible for clamping forces (and not twisting forces like normal lug nuts). I immediately corrected it when I got home, but hopefully they didn't crush my wheels with overtightening. Again, this problem will not apply to the typical customer, but the lack of knowledge and common sense was disappointing."

"I went to this company to have my tires replaced 4 months ago. There was no problem with the tire pressure sensor at that time. They would not tell you that the car would be delivered after the tires were repaired. It took a long time to deliver the car. The efficiency was very slow and the delivery was not completed on time. It was not until 4 months later that the tire pressure indicator light came on on my dashboard. I spent a lot of time trying to reset it. It wasn’t until I went back to America Tire that I discovered there was a problem with the tire pressure. They said they had to reset it. To purchase and install, I need to buy 4 more, the price is so expensive"

"Use to be really honest place to get tire work done for the past decade and half I knew about this place. Can’t feel the same now when I have my tire repaired last month, only to get in to multiple mistakes putting incorrect tire size and not honoring my request to keep my old tires and make me visit their store multiple times only to know they trashed my tires even after stressing my request."

"Review for their free flat tire repair service, I asked the tech to see if my tire is repairable before service and see if too close to the edge, got over an inch of room away from the edge and the tech said no problem. An hour later another tech said not able to repair because too close to the edge, and ask me to buy a set of new tires, I said no, then ask me to buy 2 new tires and replace as a pair, said no again, I told them to put the tire back on, tire got fully deflated because they have to unplugged the nail in order to see if it repairable, excuse, sales tactic, safety liability? You decided. End up plugging my flatted tire at their parking lot."

"They stripped the lug stud. What’s worse was they put me to wait for an extra hour while they were trying to fix it without telling me anything! Until eventually, after a total of 1 hour and 40 minutes for my tire rotation and balancing appointment, they couldn’t make it, gave the car back to me, and said “It’s safe to drive like this” I was very upset. I trusted them to make my car ready for the weekends and remained patient when it went over an hour since they started working on the car. It turned out like this, and they didn’t say anything about the compensation until I asked. They also didn’t give the stripped stud to me until I asked for it. Totally disappointed. The technician said it happened because the stud was being taken out “too rough.” Now, I have to call and make an appointment with a shop they recommended, ask my manager for another two hours off from work, and spend extra time going there and getting it repaired. Things like this happen. It’s unfortunate. I can understand it. But I don’t like the fact that I was not told anything when my appointment went over time because something went wrong. And they were still trying to avoid giving you more information about the compensation and damaged parts until you asked for them. Very disappointed."
