"Been going here on and off for years. Always great food. Just last few times had issues with food coming out individually and not all together and family members have had to wait quite awhile for their food. Overall I’d recommend still"
"The lunch menu was good, our first visit earlier this week we were excited to try their breakfast but apparently were just late to order. We returned several days later 30 minutes before the menu stated time to end breakfast to find we apparently do not know the secret handshake to actually order as the server looked arbitrarily at the clock and told us that today their menu is merely a suggestion (while delivering breakfast to other tables) and that breakfast ordering ended seconds before she arrived to our table. Then suggested we return this weekend when perhaps they may decide to allow breakfast to be ordered. Will not visit again"
"The coffee was top notch, the breakfast special was generously portioned and filling, and everything tasted great and was fresh and hot. The service was good and the staff was pleasant and solicitous! The only downside is I only get to go here when I'm visiting family. I live 100 miles away."
"This roadside restaurant is a treasure for this area! Delicious food prepared and served by a wonderful host of folks! Breakfast specials that are really special! Their coffe is tasty!"
"This is one of those institutions of the neighborhood. Servers were very friendly and food was ok. But it took 40 minutes to get our food. With no explanation until the food arrived. "Big to-go order and a large party in the back room." Which we could not see from our table. Gravy was thin and so were the grits. Food was only warm. We will be back but it will take another few years or so."
