"Let me begin by saying I shop at this Goodwill frequently but late yesterday afternoon changes everything for me!! My neighbor myself and her 2 young children 10 & 7 went to find/purchase some items for a Christmas craft party. The store was unorganized as usual which doesn’t bother me and we were all having fun joking about things ect. We found several items and the kids we’re excited and maybe a little to excited lol so as we were approaching the register one of the cashier’s started yelling at the kids for running up to check out and so we went to the only other register that was open to avoid a confrontation and that cashier and another customer started saying how it’s rude when adults let they’re children destroy the store……. The children never left our sides!!!! Then the cashier refused to check me out and told me I had to go to the other register. NOW let me just say I have been shopping here for over 10 years and the unruly children and customers I’ve seen and never has any employees treated them in that manner in my presence. So needless to say I won’t be back!! It’s bad enough that the store has raised their prices for a lot of junk but when they treat there customers with such disrespect that’s where it draw the line. I hate to bring race into this situation but we we’re the only white ones!"

"Absolutely rude and unorganized employees. They want to yell at customers for their own mistakes and then use the "we're understaffed" excuse. Hate to put back all my good finds but I refused to be at fault for their lack of planning."

"It is such an inconvenience to have all of the dressing rooms closed. I understand they closed during Covid-19, however that was over 3 years ago so there is no excuse. If you are not going to allow the dressing rooms to be open, then give people their money back when they want to return and not store credit. Ridiculous."

"Generally speaking I love Goodwill and the whole "one man's trash is another man's treasure". But Goodwill is WAY TOO gutsy nowadays with attempting to price what they're certain they'll get. The gall to price something higher than it's original value really is a trigger for me. I've posted a short video of a decorative harvest cattail plant that is priced a whole dollar higher than the store's original sticker. On this particular visit there were TWO items that had original store stickers cheaper than Goodwill's sticker price. Now, maybe the economy is such that they know they can get away with it and will get their $...with some consumers. Maybe MOST consumers! But not with me. And it's not even about that higher priced dollar, with me. It's about that Goodwill is not non-profit anymore. They get their product and merchandise by donations! And they still have the nerve to ask at the checkout, the customer to donate to pay people for jobs at Goodwill. And then the balls on top of that to charge HIGHER than what the store's original asking price was... I guess that what it is...the balls and the nerve. I refuse to give in, tho."

"You have a scam going on here. Was here the afternoon of 2/26/22. I'm a reseller so we spend $2000+ each month at the Middle Tennessee Goodwill stores. I paid for several pieces of furniture with the customer copy of the tag along with two baskets full of small items. Went around back and they were loading a piece of furniture I had paid for into a van. I honked and rolled down my window and said that was mine. She also had another table that I saw a different woman buy. I talked to her and I saw her take the bottom copy and it wasn't this woman. The woman had a receipt with the customer portion of the tag. She said she had bought it that morning. The loader called his supervisor. She looked at both tags and the woman had paid for hers at 1:20 and mine was 1:25. I asked why she said she paid for it that morning and she denied saying that. I asked to see her customer copy and all of a sudden she couldn't find it and said it blew away. The loader said he saw it and it was for this item. They let her have it because her receipt was 5 minutes before mine. It took me 15 minutes to finish shopping and go to the front and in that time someone made tickets for two pieces of furniture for this woman. I had the customer copy for one and another woman for the other piece. I had to go back inside and get my money back. While in line a woman took something out of a cart full of merchandise at the checkout and was told they were holding for someone. You have a problem at this store. I was told "Sorry, someone made a mistake." It used to be a favorite of my but I won't shop there anymore."
