"Nice to see where the town of mission started from. Cool little area with a nice parking lot and gazebos."

"Sunrise Mass is my favorite part of the day. Receiving Jesus's body and blood here almost feels even more powerful do to the pure simplicity of this powerless, one room chapel."

"First time visiting here out in the middle of nowhere. Church history was interesting. Park itself was nice but grass need to cut."

"An historical site that it should not be unappreciated. Visit the Chapel and Pray, Meditate or just admire the architecture . Travel 100 + years back and experience how in those rough days the Residents of this area found a place to Worship. Great place for a Family picnic; Over 6 acres of well manicured lawns, 12 pavilions with tables and barbecue pits. Feel like a VIP ; Homeland Security Agents are always 300 + yards away, but the do never bother anyone ( Respectful Federal Agents just doing their Job )"

"There are two parts to this stop. First, the historic mission by the river. The primary building is a sweet little chapel that has been relatively well maintained. Unfortunately there are large trash cans all over that get in the way of almost every picture. Then about a half mike away are the remains of the Abbey that was eventually turned into a mental hospital, then burned down. Unfortunately they had access blocked when we visited, but you can see the ruins from the road. I'm not sure access allowed when the school is open."
