"Park is pretty large with a number of trails to link together. But it’s clearly been forgotten by whatever agency is supposed to maintain it. Trash everywhere and certain stops need upkeep."

"It's peaceful. There are a number of species of birds to see. The trails could use a little more maintaining, and there was too much trash left behind by visitors. They should extend the open hours!! This isn't an office!"

"When I was a kid, back in the 70's, we used to call this place "the creek". We lived over on Margarita st. my brothers and myself and friends would walk all over this area, fish, hunt for coons or armadillos and kill tons of skunks!! We fished here many, many times and we swam in it's waters. Always needed to be careful with the water moccasins, rattlers and king snakes. We were the Tom Sawyers of Margarita st.!"

"Great little hike for the family and I. I would like to add to this review that people need to stop littering. There isnt a lot, but a little is a lot in this case... "Take only photos, leave only footprints.""
