"Do Not Book This Motel! The room (145) and bathroom were disgusting! Carpet shredded upon entering the room. Bath tub had short black hair all over tub & shower walls. Black mold on shower ceiling and tile grout lines. Tub spout sticking out of shower wall with exposed pipe. No hot water upon arrival. Complained and was offered only a $6.00 discount. Took running the shower for a half hour to get barely warm water the next morning. Unfortunately this location has not been properly maintained. Lots of construction materiels in all hallways for at least a year (stayed here a year ago) we hoped it would be better. Never again!"

From the moment we checked in, it was clear that this hotel had absolutely no regard for cleanliness or guest satisfaction. To begin with, the room we were given was nothing short of filthy. The floors were covered in dirt and grime, making it clear that the cleaning staff had neglected their duties. The sink was a nightmare; it was clogged and overflowing, leaving us with a stagnant pool of water in which to brush our teeth. The restroom was equally appalling. Despite the claim of being a "renovated" room, the shower doors were so poorly installed that they allowed water to splash all over the floor, creating a hazardous and slippery mess. To make matters worse, the toilet was positioned in such an awkward way that it was impossible to use it comfortably without bumping into the toilet paper holder, which, of course, was broken as well. The overall lack of maintenance and cleanliness was truly revolting. The pool, which should have provided some respite from the room's abysmal condition, was far from being a place of relaxation. It was shockingly dirty, with the water resembling a stagnant swamp rather than a clean and inviting pool. It was clear that proper maintenance was not a priority for the hotel staff, leaving guests to endure an unsanitary and unappealing swimming experience. In addition to the appalling room conditions and pool, the promised breakfast turned out to be a complete disappointment. The staff had apparently called in sick, leaving guests without any breakfast options whatsoever. It was an utter failure on the hotel's part to not have a backup plan or any alternative arrangements in place. The lack of communication and preparation was both unprofessional and inexcusable. Throughout our stay, we encountered a continuous stream of problems, and the front desk staff proved to be utterly useless. They displayed no concern for the guests' well-being or satisfaction, showing a complete lack of empathy and professionalism. Instead of addressing our concerns or attempting to rectify the situation, they were dismissive and uninterested, making it clear that our problems were of no consequence to them. In conclusion, I strongly advise against staying at the Days Inn by Wyndham in Uvalde. From the disgustingly dirty room, the malfunctioning facilities, the neglectful pool, the nonexistent breakfast, to the apathetic front desk staff, this hotel fails on every level. Save yourself the headache and find alternative accommodations that prioritize cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction."
