"The mature trees give Pioneer Park an advantage over most parks. Then Des Peres has packed-in numerous features and maintain it well. Features include: Baseball / Softball Field (April - July); Basketball Court (1/2 court); Picnic Pavilion with Grill (Reservable April 1 - October 31); Picnic Sites (non-reservable) shaded by mature trees; Playground (2-5 year olds & 5-12 year olds) Play Fountain (Memorial Day - Labor Day); Restrooms (year round); Soccer Field (Second week in August Second week in November); Tennis Courts (2) with Pickleball lines; Walking Trail (0.29 mile loop) Parking is along Tallie Drive. There are accessible spaces and sidewalks to the park features."
"Nice little park. Kids seemed to enjoy the playground. Between the ballfield and open field there's plenty of room for activities. There's tennis and basketball courts, as well."
"This is a nice park. It has plenty of paved parking including handicap spots. It has a tennis court, a baseball diamond, 2 reservable picnic areas, plenty of additional picnic tables, and 2 play structures. The play structures are perfect for early walkers as well as older children. The paths to the playground are fully paved. There are lots of trees for shade and plenty of grass. A public restroom was open while we were there."
"Very well maintained, spacious park with sports facilities for all age group of kids - from water fountain to tennis to basket ball to baseball and a lush green ground. Expect good crowd every evening from neighborhood people."
