"Yesterday was my 1st visit (and hopefully more) to Bark-a-Lounge Pet Salon. I run a foster based animal rescue in Aurora and we rescue many little, fluffy dogs that are basically "hot messes". Not their fault but due to lack of grooming on their Owners. Finding a Groomer to take on a "hot mess" is not easy. I had some issues with Big Box grooming stores and was never happy with their results or lack of care for the dogs. I poured over reviews on many groomers and chose Bark-a-Lounge Pet Salon based on the fact they are a small grooming salon. Bigger is not better. Shondra (sorry if I'm spelling her name wrong) was very helpful on the phone when I explained my situation and making an appointment was easy. I brought my little fluff hot mess and he came out handsome. I was advised in advance they would have to shave him down. I was fine with that as I know he was severely matted, and hair grows back. Honestly, his hair will grow back healthier now. I got feedback after his groom that I am able to pass onto his adoptive family when it comes time. I will definitely bring our Treasured Gems back to Bark-a-Lounge Pet Salon!"
