"if you are interested in lapidary, silversmithing, jewelry making, rocks, geology, field trips etc, this is the place. everyone is super helpful. they have classes every month on various subjects and levels of experience along with open lab nights with experienced leaders. if arlington is too far, Fort worth and Dallas have gem & mineral clubs available. im adding additional classes they offer; glass , enameling & casting. the cabbing 101 class is open to members for $12, just bring yourself, some water and maybe a small snack if needed. great introduction to lapidary."
"What a Gem of Clubs ;) !!! This is an amazing place to learn many skills such as silversmithing, lapidary/gem cutting, chasing, repousse, fold forming, glass fusing, enameling, stamping and stamp making, wire wrapping, weaving, braiding, a variety of casting methods and so much more. We have field trips to collect gemstones, crystals, fossils, a variety of rocks and minerals. Our gem and mineral club is filled with amazing, down to earth and talented folks."
