Austin Heart - Round Rock

"I had an appointment at 1:00 p.m. and got there early at 12:40. I was actually brought back to a room around 12:50. A person took my blood pressure and checked my pulse immediately. The same person came back by a couple of times and asked if I was all right and I said yes and they said it would be just a little bit longer. At 2:30 p.m. I still hadn't seen a doctor so I went to the desk and they seemed to have no idea where the doctor was. I told them I couldn't wait any longer and left. No apologies from any of the staff they just said well we will call you sometime to schedule again. I was really looking forward to this appointment because I've been having tightness in my chest but who knows when I'll get scheduled again and hopefully the doctor shows up."

I left feeling very well informed, feeling very pleased with my choice both in Austin Heart and my new cardiologist."

After the nurse went over my chart with me she said that Dr. Joe would be in shortly. Again I got out my Kindle and again I did not even get a sentence read before he came in. They are very professional and on the ball. Of course Dr. Joe was great!"

"I've been going to Dr. Gilbert/Austin Heart for about fifteen years now following my bypass surgery. I wish that some of the other doctors offices that I frequent were as good as Austin Heart. I can definitely recommend this office. The office staff is always very friendly and efficient. My phone calls are always returned in a timely manner and prescription refiles are handled quickly. My wait time in office, all things considered, is reasonable. Dr. Gilbert is very knowledgeable and listens carefully to what I have to say. He answers my questions in great detail and I never fell like he is rushing the appointment. He seems to care about me achieving the best health outcomes possible."
