"nice pool in Bastrop but this year there are much less chairs, the few they have are broken and no umbrellas. The young people who work there for the most part take their jobs seriously and they do a great job with hours to provide swim lessons balanced with open to public. Water is clean, bathrooms start off clean but probably could use more attention around 3pm and there after."
"Great pool! One of the only pools I went to this year. I actually taught one of my best friends how to swim while we were here. We went summer camping at Bastrop and and after a long hike, the cold water was so refreshing."
"Had fun here. They don't allow inflatable pool toys, not even for infants. They do not offer a non-inflatable baby boat, only a heads up life jacket. I think this location could really benefit from a sun shade sail across part of the pool. Especially the shallow water for small children."
"Lovely and quiet setting in the pines. Great place for people of all ages, or people like me who go for laps and exercise. For people who do- 3 lengths = 100 yards. Easy access in the State Park. Affordable. They have lockers, changing rooms,, and showers. Closed after labor day for the season. Wish they stayed open thru September or mid Oct at least on weekends. It's still plenty warm here for that."
