"My dog was attacked by a large dog and the dog bit behind my dog’s head and pick it up and shook it. My dog needed stitches and drains to keep the wounds flushed. Apparently it’s called big dog, little dog syndrome when the dog shakes his prey. That tears multiple layers of tissue. Urgent vet did a great job at cleaning up my Maltese and stitching it up and placing the drains. Several types of medication were subscribed. I was very happy with my experience at Urgent Vet."

She was extremely thorough in explaining the treatment plan and potential diagnoses that the tests would uncover. In the end our baby was hospitalized, but the initial tests and X-rays were already done at UrgentVet which saved us tons of money (and likely time). I also knew what to expect once we got to the ER. "I came in on Monday evening with my lab and the doctor and nurse whom assisted me were so nice and friendly. Everything was explained well to me regarding my dogs home care and what to watch for snacks a water was offered to us as well . I would highly recommend coming here. My dog had recently been fixed an had slightly opened her incision back up. But she is doing much better now I am thankful!"

"We have two German Shepherds and we’re playing ball in the backyard like we do every morning, when one went for a ball and accidentally nipped the other dogs ear. My wife and son brought Piper to UrgentVet and they were phenomenal to deal with. They took care of Pipers ear and did so in a timely manner while being compassionate to her and us.
