"Let me tell you!!! I will never use another groomer again. She was so inviting and caring and spoke to and loved on my pup just as I would. No more kennels or driving to and from grooming appointments. Best way to go. I’ll be surprised if she isn’t booked up months in advance with this type of amazing service. Home Sweet Home Grooming will be my only groomer for as long she is operating. Nora is amazing. I’ve had a lot of difficulty going to other places here in Austin - either they don’t cut her hair correctly, she leaves with a rash, or I pick her up absolutely trembling and whining. I’ve always hated the idea of my dog waiting in a kennel for her turn or when she was done - sometimes several hours later. I hated always leaving other groomers disappointed. A quick google search lead me to all of the five star rave reviews of Home Sweet Home Grooming. She offers in home haircuts, wash and blow dry, nail grinding, teeth brushing, gland check, and ear cleaning. I reached out to her and we scheduled an appointment quickly! She arrived with all of the supplies needed - even a portable grooming table and hand held vacuum! I was so impressed! Of course my dog was nervous on the table at first (given her past experiences) but she brought organic chicken treats and her kind and loving demeanor and she was perfectly fine in less than a minute. This is the only groomer who has ever cut her hair perfectly. I joke that my dog is a tomboy and doesn’t want the designer dog haircut, just all one length - something other groomers couldn’t grasp. One thing I loved was she said, “I’m going to let her run around when she’s done so you can check and see if there is anything you want to change.” Of course I didn’t need to change anything, but the fact this was offered up front was very comforting and highly professional. I’ve never been offered that before. She finished everything in just over an hour while I sat on my couch doing remote work. Not only did she do an amazing job with the grooming services, she uses her expertise, experience, and network she has gained from working in a veterinary office. She told me how to keep my dogs ears from retaining too much moisture causing ear infections and the name of an amazing veterinarian who can take care of her teeth scaling without spending the thousands of dollars quoted from most vets. The visit was worth that information alone. I will blast her information to anyone who will listen. Don’t hesitate!!! You won’t go back to any other groomer."

"Nora has been our groomer for many years. She by far is the only person I trust with my dogs because she CARES. I can tell by my dog’s reaction when seeing her; they are beyond excited to see her when she arrives and always greet her with kisses. She knows the dog’s personalities, she takes time to work with their anxiety and always makes sure that the dog is comfortable before doing anything, rather than forcing the dog to take a bath. I have even heard her talking to the dogs, praising them for being brave, and being aware of when they become anxious and comforting them through the process. Nora goes above and beyond to meet my style requests (even if they seem impossible), she somehow always makes it work. The dogs come out feeling happy, fresh, with an ADORABLE bandana that matches the season or holiday, and most importantly LOVED. You can't replace Nora. If you are looking for THE best groomer (and I am a very picky overprotective dog mama), Nora is the one to trust. She is honest, caring, respectful, and trustworthy."
