"I have taken my baby Shadow here since he was a puppy, and he is now almost 3. Each stylist we have had has done a great job with him. I have taken him to both North Shepherd and the River Oaks location. However, if Maryon is available, then I always request her. Shadow is always happy to be dropped off as well. He knows he is in for a great spa day. Maryon does a phenomenal job with him. Shadow has a very thick double coat, and she trims him up so beautifully each time. You can tell she takes great pride in her work because it truly shows in his haircut. He always comes out looking 10 pounds lighter from the shed release plus package as well. I love picking him up with his little bandana and great smelling fur spritz."

"When we first arrived, the receptionist did not make eye contact with us, which I normally wouldn't mind (it's busy), but then she was very short with us as well. When we came to pick our dog up, we were told that she had tried to bite the groomers, which surprised us as she has had several positive experiences getting groomed at petco in the past with no previous complaints. The receptionist thre told us that our dog was no longer welcome to be groomed there. When we got her home and examined the haircut, it jumped out at us right away that there were several patches that were shaved to the skin almost as if the comb for the clippers had fallen off. Which, based on the report of her nipping at the groomers, makes me think that the groomers were not very experienced. Overall it was a poor customer service experience, a bad grooming experience and I honestly can't recommend others to use petco for grooming in the future."
