Le Paws Grooming

"one word: run. if you have any love for your dog, run far away from this place. my family and I decided to give Le Paws a try today. we have had our dog for 12 YEARS and not ONCE, have we ever had a problem with getting him groomed — until today. upon picking our dog up, he was carried and handed to us, rather than walked out — which usually dog groomers give us our collar and leash and then our dogs walk out. we didn’t think anything of this. when we arrived home, we noticed that our dog’s ENTIRE NAIL was CUT off — his entire quick was exposed. he was bleeding immensely and limping in pain. he even got blood all over our back seat from this POOR nail trim. so now we understood why he was HANDED to us, rather than walked out. we called immediately and two men were pointing the blame at us and questioning us, like it was our fault? first of all, how disrespectful. we love our dog very much and these two men decided to manipulate the situation and make US look like we caused this. please make it make sense. THEN, they decided to talk about how “poor” our dogs fur was upon arrival. well.. clearly, we’re getting our dog groomed BECAUSE of how long his fur was. we have never been shamed by ANY groomer in the last 12 years of having him, why today with this company? on the phone, these men wouldn’t even let us speak and kept talking over us to gaslight and manipulate us. again; how DARE you? and you claim to love animals? do better. be honest and truthful. own up to YOUR mistakes, rather than blaming others for something that YOU KNOW, IN YOUR HEART, that YOU did. although i didn’t interact with them directly; they will be hearing from me soon. i look forward to it! if you get anything out of this review — STAY AWAY. there’s a reason why the ratings are so bad."

"ABSOLUTELY worst. Be kind to your animal and avoid this place. Somehow, they totally removed my dogs nail and cut his paw. When I called 10 minutes after picking up first thing, they said it wasn't like that when they handed to me. So i felt they were insinuating that 10 min drive home caused it. Then they got defensive, which i thought it was little weird that they handed him to me instead of letting him walk, which i then just carried him to my car. Didn't notice until i got home. The nail was completely gone, and he was bleeding. Another thing they said that they were doing us a favor by squeezing him in for an appointment, but it doesn't excuse you injuring my dog."

"If you care about your pet, you will find someplace else to get your pet groomed. I have had two instances of bad service. I gave them the benefit of a doubt when they cut my dog’s belly trimming her. This week when we went to pick her up they gave us the dew claw from her left rear leg!! They blamed her for trying to get away while blowing her fur out. Surely my dog is not the only dog that shys away from a hair dryer!! And get this, BOTH TIMES THEY RAN MY CREDIT CARD BEFORE ThEY TOLD ME HOW MY DOG HAD BEEN HURT WHILE IN THEIR CARE. Refused to reverse the charge even though my dog was probably going to need medical attention!! WORST GROOMING experience EVER!!"

"THE ABSOLUTE MOST ARROGANT and rude people I've EVER dealt with. That manager/owner/whatever twice insulted me an accused me of not caring for my cats properly b/c one of them had a lot of matting. They are persian cats. It happens. That's the whole REASON groomers exist. I also noticed that my cat's would be extremely skittish the whole day that they were groomed here. Makes me wonder if they give them medicine or just straight up abuse them. NOT COOL. All of this said, the only reason I considered taking them back there after 2 years despite their inappropriate behaviour was they are super close and cheap. I called to make an apt and that arrogant boy up front told me I wasn't welcome there. They are afraid of b/c they know how messed up they are. Read all these reviews. Everyone says the same thing. I IMPLORE YOU, DO NOT USE THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LEAVE ANGRY AND/OR CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR PETS WELFARE. May the reign of this place end soon and may the employees find themselves in a junk yard or sewer looking for work. ;)"
