"Beware I regret to share my disappointing experience with Brilliance Jewelers. On December 7, 2023, I purchased a .75 Carat, 14K White Gold diamond ring, only to later discover that it was made of glass. Several issues compounded the situation: the delayed provision of an authenticity certificate, which, when received after two months, was for a different ring that I never purchased. Remarkably, I am still awaiting the original authenticity certificate for my actual purchase. Upon consulting other jewelers, it has been confirmed that the ring is not authentic. Despite my efforts, obtaining a serious response or a refund from the shop remains an ongoing challenge. I hope my experience serves as a cautionary tale for potential customers."

"People be aware this people are not professionals at all . I stop and end up buying something time went by and it was time for store closing I stated I would go back specially cause they were having problems with the system ( that’s what the mgr stated ) but of course they wanted the business so stated they will finish transaction with bank next business day and I should not worry. I started to making my payments as stated and went to pick up my order as it need it resizing. Time went by and continued making makes well it’s been 5 months and this other bank keeps on calling me saying I owe them for my purchase . I have called several times and talked to the Mgr and stated will take care of it and call me back and till this day no call from him …been making payments to America first Finance and synchrony banks is been calling me and this people won’t do anything to care of the problem."

"Great service. Very nice people working here. Not pushy. It’s really uncomfortable when you got someone pushing you to buy something. They let me take my time and look at everything I wanted to look at. They gave me an awesome deal on a new Seiko King Turtle."

"I took a very thin silver chain in to Brilliance Jewelers at Grapevine Mills for repair—basically a solder of one link to another. They charged me at drop off $27.06, which I paid via credit card. I had to keep checking with them after the 10-12 days they quoted it would take for repair and one day as I was in the mall, I stopped in and they said it was complete. It was in a box, wrapped around a styrofoam necklace holder. The lady at the check out said the balance was $27.06–I had to go get the receipt to show that I had already paid which I thought was quite shady. The kicker is that once I got home and pulled the chain out, replacing the pendant that had been on it prior to it breaking, I realized something wasn’t right. First of all, the chain hung about three inches longer with the pendant than it ever did prior to the “repair”; second of all, the chain would catch and snag in ways it never did prior. The chain I gave them had very small, intricate links, and this chain is not made that way—although it is thin in millimeter like the one I brought to them. I went back and tried to inquire and the lady told me that it appears longer because it’s prone to catch and snag and that caused it to “seem shorter” before. I was wearing the chain and pendant when I went in, by the way, and showed her a picture on my phone of me with the chain on, wearing the same shirt and said, “Look, it now hangs literally three inches longer than before.” She had nothing for me…admitted that she doesn’t know how a solder of a chain would cause it to grow longer in length, and left it at that. So I don’t know if they ruined my original chain while trying to fix it or if they just fixed it and basically stole it, but I DO know the chain I received back IS NOT the one I dropped off, and I DO NOT recommend anyone taking their jewelry to this jeweler for repair. They literally took my jewelry and gave me something else in return…AND CHARGED me (almost twice) for it!! "Brilliance Jewelers in the Grapevine Mills Mall in Grapevine, Texas has a wide selection of rings, chains, bracelets and watches. They even repair jewelry too. I am giving Brilliance Jewelers two stars because of an experience I had there in early July of 2021. My silver chain was broken on the end of the lobster clasp. This meant that the lobster clasp was still attached to one side of my chain and the loop that holds the lobster clasp was still attached to the other side of the chain. I had forgotten that the loop was still present since my chain had been broken for a few weeks. This is important to remember because of something that occurs later on in the story. I walked in to Brilliance Jewelers and asked how much it would cost to replace the lobster clasp since I know it would be almost impossible to repair the small end of it. The associate that was helping me stated that the loop was missing and the price would be higher than normal since it needed to be replaced. She quoted me $75 dollars to replace the loop and lobster clasp. She then said that she could drop the price down to $50. I thought her price was quite steep since I know that silver lobster clasps run around $10 to $25 dollars retail depending on the size and that they always come with a loop included. I told her I would think about it and went about my way. Later on in the week I went to a different jeweler and while handing over the chain to have it looked at I noticed that the loop was still present. At that moment I realized that the associate at Brilliance Jewelers was trying to cheat me and had to have hid the loop behind the chain while she was showing how the loop was missing. Eventually I was able to have a new lobster clasp attached to my silver chain for $24.99 plus tax at another jeweler. Later in the month I went back to Brilliance Jewelers to complain. I explained that I didn't want anything but just to complain and state that I would be reviewing the store on Google Maps. I was told that the associate that helped me out was actually from another store and was only there that day to help out. In the conversation, I stated that I was almost cheated due to the loop and that the price quoted was extremely steep. An associate tried to explain that the price of repair was the reason why but I rebutted the associate by saying that silver is quite cheap in general and replacing a lobster clasp should not be anywhere close to $50. All of that being said, be very leery of having any jewelry repaired at Brilliance Jewelers. Make sure you know your jewelry and have at least an understanding of the price of items being replaced."
