"Who knew building a pool would be such an easy and great experience? We met with multiple builders and ultimately chose Custom Fit Pools. We couldn’t be more pleased with our choice! Brett and his team are top notch and professional. From the initial meeting to the end, the entire process was smooth and exactly what was promised with no additional “fees” along the way. Brett is very hands on and very responsive to any questions and kept us in the loop during the entire process. Despite all the rain we faced during our build, his team was able to stay on schedule and complete on time which is amazing. Any time a question arose, Brett was always quick to respond. One evening his team stayed late to power wash our driveway after tracking mud down it, which we know was not a part of the “contract”. The service and care taken was beyond impressive. "Our experience with Custom Fit Pools was a complete nightmare. We began construction on 7/11/18, and six months later our project was still incomplete (we were told it would take 6 weeks to complete). We paid a LOT of money for this project, and we do not appreciate being disrespected, ignored, and then threatened by our contractor for simply asking him to do the job that we paid him to do, and to do it the right way. In our personal experience, the owner of this company was extremely unprofessional, unreliable, arrogant, dishonest, condescending, and lacking in integrity. Communication with this company was horrible, and the management of our job was extremely poor from day one. The owner repeatedly attempted to add additional costs to our project "after the fact," which we believe was an attempt for him to recoup some of the costs that he incurred due to the numerous mistakes made during construction. Additionally, the owner himself completely tore up our back yard when he made the decision to drive his truck through our gate without permission, and he outright refused to fix his mess, stating that "the contract states he does not have to fix it" (not true at all, and is a perfect example of the type of behavior and "integrity" that we dealt with throughout the entire 6 month ordeal). Our job did not get completed (although the owner repeatedly told us that he was finished and demanded that we pay him his final check) and we currently have a leaking waterfall, blotchy/inconsistent kool decking, an exposed deck drain pipe, a broken waterfall rock (that broke off the day after the waterfall was constructed (in August) and was not fixed as promised), poorly applied shingles to our roof addition, and a nasty swampy mess for a backyard. The owner has gone to great lengths to have our reviews removed from social media, (thus portraying a very FALSE positive image of the company), therefore, this original review has been edited to remove his name and very relevant details of our nightmare construction process.
