"Could not find it"
"This is the most snotty and unhelpful jeweler I have ever had to deal with. My best friend bought an engagement ring about a year ago and from the get go, they claimed to have serviced the ring when they clearly hadn't - it hadn't even been resized. When she insisted it hadn't been done, they argued for thirty minutes - which, honestly, the ring was falling off. It wasn't rocket science to realize a mistake had been made. All she wanted was her ring to fit - they hauled it back and finally did it. When they came back, a stone was missing. Cue arguments again. Within a week, yet another was missing. Of course, this time she was moving in two days for a new job. They finally made some moans and groans that she could have the stone replaced at another jeweler in the new town and they'd cover the cost. In the last year, she has lost four stones. Finally, when she brought it in to be repaired again, the new jeweler actually refused to do the work. You see, Stewart's had done such a miserable job resizing that the stone issue would NEVER STOP. They helped her claim the insurance money on the ring and replaced it with one of their custom built pieces, far more reasonably priced and didn't insist on trying to upsell, while giving a lifetime warranty. I personally went in to deal with Stewart's more than once because my friend was nearly frustrated to tears. I will never, ever deal with these people again and have gone out of my way to make sure others don't either. Absolutely appalled by their business practices from start to finish."
