About the Business
Muscatine Academy of Music and Dance, located at 1514 Isett Avenue in Muscatine, Iowa, is a unique performing arts academy where the sky's the limit! We offer classes for all ages, abilities, and levels in a diverse and inclusive studio environment. Our programs focus on fostering discipline, leadership, confidence, and helping each child achieve their personal goals.
At MAMD, we believe in creating a positive and supportive atmosphere where kids can learn proper technique while still being able to be kids. We are here to support and partner with parents in raising not only great dancers, but great kids as well.
Our academy offers a wide variety of classes to meet every child and teen's needs, including preschool, ballet/lyrical, tap, jazz, hip-hop, poms, tumbling, private lessons, poms team (non-competitive), and competition dance team. We are proud members of More Than Just Great Dancing and Discover Dance.

"My daughter joined the mini and me tumble dance class in the Summer of 2023 and she was only 15 months old and a full time crawler. By the 2nd week of class my tumbler was walking with confidence and crawling less. I believe this class helped her gross motor skills quite a bit! I’m very excited MAMD offers a range of classes for all ages. The staff have always been welcoming and my daughter always has a blast. We plan on staying with MAMD for future classes.
