CareerTEC

CareerTEC is an institution located at 2037 West Galena Avenue in Freeport, Illinois, United States. We offer a variety of programs to help students explore and pursue careers in various industries. Our programs include Careers in Auto Technology & Services (CATS), Construction Trades Youth Apprenticeship, Digital & Interactive Design & Animation, and Health Occupations Youth Apprenticeship (HOYA).

At CareerTEC, we focus on hands-on learning and real-world experiences to prepare our students for success in their chosen fields. Our students are currently working on a deck project for Mr. Lawfer, where they are learning valuable skills in construction and project management. Despite the challenges and expenses involved in using composite decking, our students are dedicated to completing the project by the end of the school year.

In addition to our programs, CareerTEC also provides access to public documents such as agendas and board minutes for transparency and accountability.
