"My wife and I have been going to Vision Health Specialties for many years and have always received the best of eye care. Billy Cook is very thorough and he provides top-notch service. Highly recommend!"

"Doctor care was great. Felt like he really listened and helped move me towards improvement in corrective lenses. Nurse was also very polite and professional. Phone calls are a nightmare. So many departments for a small business. If you select a directory on the automated call it rings and rings until someone answers and you describe the need and they say they will transfer you to the department you originally selected in directory. They also seem somewhat annoyed. Usually the transfer results in you leaving a voicemail with a 50/50 shot of getting called back at some point."

"I came in for an eye exam and to get new lenses for my frames, and new contacts. The eye exam was great. Afterwards I was paired with a glasses specialist named Penelope. I am guessing she is a former used car salesperson as it was a very tough situation. I was there on my lunch break and in a hurry to get my lenses ordered. She kept pushing me to get frames as well. She kept leaving and coming back with new prices until it was more expensive to get just lenses than it was to get frames and lenses. I finally agreed against my better judgement and simply asked for a new version of the same frame I already had. It took about three and a half weeks for them to come in. When I went to pick them up they had ordered the wrong frame. They told me that they looked nice and I should keep them. I said I absolutely would not and I wanted the ones I ordered. In the end the only gesture of good will they gave me was to let me keep the frame I did not want until my correct frame came in. I was assured I would be kept in the loop during shipping of the correct frame. I never heard anything until it came in about an additional three weeks later. Very disappointing that nothing was done to keep me happy or keep me as a customer. I decided to buy my contacts elsewhere because of the poorly handled situation."

"2 hours on the phone to make an appointment( got disconnected twice), I went and talked to the receptionist ( no one was on the phone when I got there) she said that’s the way it is system is slow no apologies or anything tried to talk to the manager she wasn’t there and they don’t give you a phone # for the manager you get a sticky note ( picture attached) with the option of the receptionist that you can’t never reach. This is not the first time this happens to me, I will be finding a different Dr."

"Th doctors and front desk staff are very professional, efficient and friendly. Sadly, the eyeglass shop is the worst. Crystal, who identifies herself as the manager, is rude and controlling. She created rules to limit options for Dr. Cook’s clientele and then fails to deliver the few options she allows us to order. After three visits to order one pair of lenses (I had to buy the frames on Amazon), Crystal called to force me to order the lenses she preferred rather than the ones I already ordered and paid for. I chose to stick with my original choices at which point she canceled my order. I did receive a refund on my credit card, but my frames are still at “the lab”. To recap, I waited for 30 minutes to get help choosing frames that were all small sizes, like child sized. Then I had to buy my own frames online, take them back in, wait 30 minutes again to order Dr. Cook’s prescription which I had gotten in a separate visit. I finally paid for the lenses on my third trip, only to get called back to cancel the whole order without a return of my frames. The person who handled my order, Penelope, was kind, effective and truly cared about my eye health, but her boss dismantled any hope of me salvaging anything good from this experience. For $1000 I expect better. While I will still see Dr. Cook, I will not ever go to Crystal’s little eyeglass shop fiefdom again. I would prefer to shop local, but this terrible experience is driving me to find what I need from internet shopping opportunities."
