"BUYER BEWARE: Always get an estimate BEFORE any work is done. I called Beyer to investigate and fix a potential leak in my ceiling as well as do some repairs on 3 toilets. Since they were here anyway, i had them also install a new faucet that i had bought for my laundry room sink. The positive first: The technicians were very professional and completed all the work listed in a very satisfactory manner. I have no complaints about the work done. My issue was the price i ended up paying for said work, which is why i am leaving 2 stars instead of 5. The bill for 4 hours work was $2414.99!!!!! I know that plumbers are expensive and was expecting a large bill, but this was beyond excessive. $371.26 just to install a new faucet. $619.26 to replace the fill valve and water line on two toilets. $520.21 to do a full rebuild on my other toilet. $185.00 fee for the time they took to do a part run. Maybe i am behind the times, but these charges are insanely high for the work performed. Again, they did do good work, but make sure you have an estimate before any work is performed or else be prepared to dig deep into your savings to pay for it like i did. "The men were great, but they couldn’t fix my sewer problem. They did explain I needed to have the septic system pumped and then they could finish the work, but of course they took several more days. They did good work, but had to give only 4 Stars since I wasn’t really satisfied that the problem wasn’t fixed."
