We originally found them on a neighbor's recommendation after one of our dogs was consistently sick and depressed after boarding, even at an open ranch type of facility. "We had never heard of a place like this where your pet stays with a host family until hearing about it from a co-worker. I was nervous about going out of town and leaving our puppy at a kennel so when we discovered PETS ARE INN, I was thrilled to give it a try. My dog and I met with the owners who are the nicest, pet loving couple, and they placed my dog with the family they thought she would do well with. They were right. My pup came back happy and loved and the host mommy left a note saying how she did on her adventure away. We will definitely be using this service each time we go out of town."
"Pets Are Inn Plano is the best! They've been taking care of my elderly dachshund for 5 years and we've always had a great experience. Al and Donna take great care in getting to know your pet and keep you informed of any changes while you're gone. The host families have been excellent and spoil my dog, just the way I would at home. The driver is always punctual and cheerful. I really don't worry when we're traveling because I know my pet is in very capable hands."
