"Don't count on you prescription being ready when they say it will be. Also if you are getting a vaccine, they will finish all of their filing and other things first."

"Ridiculous that I cannot be served in a competent fashion. These people will go out of their way to stretch out any process that requires 10/15 minutes to hours, multiple. I have personally spent better part of days waiting for medication when they dane to finally get around to servicing me. Add in an argumentative old crone at the window, a full staff that can’t answer a phone, or blatantly ignoring calls from your doctor’s office and then LYING ABOUT IT. Go get your medication somewhere else— even if you live across the street and your insurance fully covers you only at this location. They will make every step difficult for you."

"Incompetent pharmacy tech. I had to sign up for a covid test. When i showed up i was informed that their computer system was malfunctioning. I understood and they politely told me that they would contact me to come back later that day once the issue is resolved. The incompetence comes in when i returned to take my test. No signs were placed up to specify the drive-thru lane, as you can only be in one lane in order to be given the test. I then had to provide my confirmation number multiple times to the tech. She apparently could not handle remembering a 7 digit number. By the 5th time i raised my voice which she panicked, backed away from the computer and tried to say the line "sir, if you are going to raise your voice i can't help you". I informed her that it was now the 5th time i had to tell her the number. She tried to blame the computer saying it "won't let me type it in". I don't see how you not being able to type means you can't remember 7 digits. Another tech took the phone from her and started over with me. I had to actually pull up my confirmation email and place it against the window for this tech to finally get the number correct. I understand pharmacology can be difficult, but getting a 7 digit number correct by the 2nd or 3rd try is not difficult. If it takes you more than that then you are just incompetent and not good at your job. Then you try to panic and run away like you aren't going to serve me because i raised my voice, due to your incompetence, is a cowardly move and only reinforces that you are bad at your job. Don't use this pharmacy."

"I find it very difficult to even get through to someone on the phone. This is the worst CVS I have been to. I live 1.5 miles away and will never go here again. They hung on me 3 times before I even spoke with someone. My wife had the same experience a year ago and switched her prescriptions to Walgreens and I said, "it was her". As usual I should have listened to my wife. BAD BAD BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT GO HERE."

"Go to Walgreens in Fox River Grove instead. In the 10+ years CVS has been in Cary, Illinois I've had numerous problems with insurance, the computer saying my prescription is ready, yet it takes 3 trips to the store. It seems systemic to CVS. Walgreens has been in Illinois for over a century and has a better supply chain and customer service attitude."
