"I have grave reservations about the leadership of this company. I have supported their local specialist facility for many years with many referrals. On the last business day before Christmas a high paid high ranking administrative employee of this company posted a scathing review of my clinic with condescension and narcissism exuding from the review. She did not have an appointment and immediately on entering the clinic made it known to everyone how important she was. Her dogs merely needed heartworm tests but seemingly according to her after 40 years in practice at this facility I am not competent to do this simple procedure. Her real source of displeasure is hard to pin down because she had a list of numerous instances where my staff and I seemingly failed her ranging from how my manager with 10 years experience opened the door to the exam room to how a history was not taken for the purpose of doing a heartworm test in spite of the fact that we had her dogs previous medical records on file. She was told up front she would not see a Dr. She never asked to see a Dr. while in the clinic but took issue in not seeing a Dr. in her review. A company whose employees behave in such a malicious fashion in the local community has to be regarded with inherent distrust. If their representatives treat someone who has supported them for years like this you have to wonder in what regard they really hold their clients and their pets."

"Terrible. I would give less than a star if I could. My dog was involved in an accident a month ago and required emergency surgery to save her. Since then, I have been trying to reach someone at Thrive Plus to help us with our claim. I am unable to locate a phone number for the corporate office in Austin, and cannot get a response to any of the three emails I have sent to the membership mailbox. Find yourself a more reliable and proven pet insurance if you would like the support you hope to get when a pet crisis arises."

"We partnered with Pathway one year ago and the experience has been very good. Our employees have better benefits, less expensive health insurance, paid maternity/paternity leave, etc. When the pandemic hit in March all of our communication from Pathway was centered around keeping our staff safe and zero about revenue continuation. This showed us what we thought we knew - they care about people and pets. Above board company and we have been treated well."
