"The property was disgusting and not maintained at all. So much so that I gladly paid $2000 to terminate my lease early. Building was not secure, there was a constant flood in the mail vestibule that ruined multiple pieces of my mail. The icing on the cake was four months after my lease had ended and I followed procedure to the letter, they sent me to collections even though they never tried to collect my supposed debt. I disputed it with all the documentation I'd saved because I knew better than to trust management and the collections account was removed from my credit report within hours. Shady management in a building that would be better off demolished."

"PROCEED WITH CAUTION. What is clearly terrible management prevented me from even viewing either of the reverb locations, in Berwyn or Oak Park. They have hours listed on their website, which clearly have no bearing on reality. On two separate days, I attempted to call their office number at least 10 times. I left a message over the weekend which was never returned. The Berwynn location lists one of their tenants phone numbers on the outside of the building for UPS and delivery services. Being that they will not answer their phone, this tenant has been bombarded with phone calls. Thankfully she was nice enough to meet me downstairs and explain that no one had been in the office for several days and that she had no idea where they might be. At that point the tenant removed her phone number from the window, probably a good call."

"DO NOT LIVE HERE. The building is old, creaky, smells like a basement, and is run by extremely unprofessional individuals. Don't be fooled by the pictures on their website. Several of the 5 star reviews on this page are FAKES, posted by management themselves. Apartment layouts are very poorly planned and the appliances are cheap, similar to those you'd find in a mobile home. To say that the street parking is a nightmare would be an understatement. Also, 100% of the mail I had sent to this building was either stolen or never delivered. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Save your time and money and live ANYWHERE else."

"I am honestly so glad that I am only living in this building for a few more weeks. When I first saw this place last summer I absolutely loved it, but as we all know looks can be very deceiving. The units are unbearably small for how much they are charging for rent and it is in no way justifiable. Also, don’t expect to meet kind and friendly people while living here because no one talks to each other and on the rare occasion you might get a hi from someone walking by, but like I said it’s a rare occasion. The buildings outdoor greenery such as the grass and bushes need to be cut because it looks terrible. If I’m paying $1,275 a month to live in a 575 square ft apartment the least that my rent money can afford to buy the property management is a decent landscaping job, or at least a front entrance that isn’t covered in water 3 days out of the week which ruins packages and other mail that is on the ground. Also, the leaking in the front entrance causes a moldy and musky smell that can’t be good for breathing in. Also the front door and the side door facing Wisconsin never shut all the way so anyone can really come in which is absurd. Now for the cherry on top, My neighbors above me are the most inconsiderate people in the world whether it’s stumbling in drunk at 3 in the morning and being incredibly loud, or having the cops called on them because their incredibly loud screaming and pushing one another around. I have contacted management numerous times and they have done nothing and after a while you just realize that management doesn’t get anything done. The old one and the new management. Like I said before I am so glad that I only have to live here for a few more weeks, because if I could go back and stop myself from moving into this building I without a doubt would."

"Cagan Management Oak Park Property Manager & the Assistant Property Manager take a very long time to respond to emails; sometimes they will not respond at all. There is only one maintenance guy and he is rarely available and if he is out of town you can forget about being assisted; one time his wife was able to assist.... I moved here August 2017 and there was a mouse in my apartment, October 2017... it took 4 days for a resolution. As of November 2017 the ceiling in my bathroom leaks atleast once a month (no one has fixed it and its July 2018). I hadn't seen a mouse in a while... and I was "assured" I would not because of the steel wool and the exterminator... today there is a dead mouse in one of the traps.... I text maintenance a few hours ago... no response, so I called, he stated he did not get my text (please be sure to call and leave voicemails if you require assistance) I'm just ready to move.... oh also, the apartments do not have AC and during the winter the heat gets so hot that you have to open a window (there is no off switch for the radiator), the radiator makes alot of noise and smells. If you're looking for a starter place.... this is thee one for you... other than that the neighborhood is very safe and so close to public transportation, lots of great restaurants. Oh by the way the parking is thee worst even with the parking permit.... if it's after 6:00PM you have to drive in circles and pray for the best... I will say the apartment rehab is really pretty though..."
