"My silly boy decided to eat a strip of magnets and was unable to get all of them up after inducing vomiting at another clinic. After arriving at VEG , they got started on my dog’s vitals and IV catheter placement right away. My high stress level immediately neutralized because I truly felt like my baby was a priority. Kass, the veterinary technician that was caring for my pet, was so compassionate and gentle with him. Dr. Pearson examined him within a few minutes of arriving through the door. She was extremely thorough and came up with a plan and estimate for a scoping procedure to remove the remaining magnets from my dog’s stomach- Dr. Kiefer came in just to scope my dog (on his night off!!!). He arrived within 30 minutes and started the scoping procedure, successfully removing all the magnet pieces. I was there and present from start to finish and got to be a part of the team to get my baby better! Emergency/after-hours pricing is always going to be more expensive than a GP, but my baby received the best care and it was worth every penny. I will be recommending the facility to friends and family because I am beyond impressed with the layout, the staff, and the level of gold-standard patient care VEG provided."

"I thought I sent this review in a week ago but apparently never hit send. This place....WOW! Archie was doing a downward dog pose and not eating. I figured he ate a sock so I called VEG. They suggested I bring him in. Glad I did. He apparently swallowed a whole new potato and it was lodged in his small intestine. Dr. Keifer and the staff were quick, knowledgeable and very attentive. We have 8 dogs and have been involved in rescue for 20 years.I have never experienced anything like VEG. They asked if we wanted to be in the OR with our pet. We were like, wait....what? The operation was successful, the followup was amazing (Dr. Keifer texted from his personal phone on his day off to check on Archie). If he ever goes into private practice I will be his first customer! ***UPDATE*** We are terrible at cones. Hate to use them. He licked at his incision and it got a little infected. Emailed a pic to the clinic and they said I should bring him in. Got me in right away, cleaned him up, put in a staple for good measure and sent me on the way while only charging for an antibiotic! Thank you, Dr. Paugh!!! You guys just absolutely ROCK!"

"Excellent service, kind and caring staff. I went in with my pet budgie who was egg bound and had a prolapsed vent. Although there was no avian vet, the vet and staff on duty researched the possibilities for us, gave us great advice and care. My bird made it through the night because of their first aid. The next day I was able to take her to her regular vet. Can’t thank you enough VEG, Research blvd"

"Exceptional care in a time of need! I cannot praise the Veterinary Emergency Group enough for the incredible service they provided to my beloved pet. When my dog, Rosco, had a sudden health emergency, I rushed him to the Veterinary Emergency Group, and from the moment we arrived, we were met with compassion and professionalism. The entire team at the Veterinary Emergency Group went above and beyond to ensure that Rosco received the best care possible. The veterinarians were not only highly skilled but also showed genuine concern for Rosco’s well-being. They kept me informed every step of the way, explaining his condition and treatment options clearly and patiently. The support staff were equally remarkable. Their kindness and understanding made a stressful situation much more manageable. They were always available to answer my questions and offer support, which meant a lot during such a difficult time. I am especially grateful for the way the Veterinary Emergency Group handled Rosco’s end-of-life care. When the difficult decision to euthanize him had to be made, they provided a peaceful and dignified process that allowed Rosco to pass away with grace and comfort. The empathy and respect shown by the entire team during this heartbreaking moment were truly touching. I cannot recommend the Veterinary Emergency Group highly enough. Their dedication to providing exceptional care and support to pets and their owners in times of crisis is truly commendable. Thank you to each and every member of the team for your outstanding service and for making a difficult experience a little bit easier."

"Super kind and sweet to our dog and very clear procedures and pricing. We were seen right away. Our 15 year old Chihuahua had stomach issues and the vets were really sensitive to possible age related complications. She barks at strangers partly because they tower over her. So the vets sat on the bare ground with her to get her calm for treatment. Recommend for any after hour needs, even if you aren’t sure it’s an emergency."
