North Loop Pet Clinic

"I have been coming here for over 4 years for my dogs and have never had a problem before today. And today I took my three cats to get looked at because one of them had been vomiting all morning. I arrived there at 8:00 and ended up leaving at 11:30 or so... After I waited to be attended. I decided I needed food because after being there for 3 hours you can imagine I got hungry. So, I left and got a call that I had 5 mins to get there, or else they would not allow me to get a check up for my cats. Of course, I run to the clinic and I was only about 4 1/2 mins late and got denied a check up. When they said I had 5 mins to arrive.... Which I did in 4-1/2 mins.... I understand they are "busy" they always are. However, I did get there in 4-1/2 mins, so there was no reason they should of denied me. As you can imagine anyone would be pissed off after waited 3 hours not to be helped. So, with that being said I will no longer come here. Full offense, but this veterinary is mediocre. It is a low quality place, it smells awful inside. But hey it was good for me at the time 4 years ago and definitely for shots sure, and it is cheap and affordable. But overall with this experience I will never come here again. All because they did not want to take me in for those 30 secs I had left. (:"

"It's a good veterinary clinic. Bring a book. The wait is always long. No appointments, first come first served and you wait in your car after signing in. The parking lines up down the street most days. Only once have I been there when the cars were all in the parking lot. Despite all that, the clinic is clean, and everyone there is kind and knowledgeable. Good care at an affordable price."

"Great place if you are looking for low cost! This is not an appointment based clinic, so don’t expect that. Waiting is a big part, but you can either have expensive and have an appointment or cheaper and wait. This place saved our cat awhile back (who is currently still alive) and for way cheaper than what another vet would have charged."

"Always a great place to go if you need to take your pet to a clinic for a routine visit or minor heath issues. Low cost services and very clean. It may not look like it from the outside or even the inside but it's a very reputable place. Been using this place for about 11 yrs. Some workers are still there. Always polite and knowledgeable. If they can't help with something they will offer you references. No appointment is needed. But you should arrive early because this place is popular."

"Extremely dirty place. BUT they do take care of your pets for much less than any other pet clinic. Another downside is that they close at 4 and are closed Thursdays and Sundays."
