"Lived here for 2 years in a 2 bedroom, 13-25. Management and Maintenance are easy and setup well. The apartments are CHEAP and bare minimum. Nobody is taking pride in the work. Heat and AC did work well at least. Management dealt with issues when they could and timely at least. There were a few areas they just refused to fix. Nice location. Parking sucks. Blocked in often by various vehicles. Pool sucks. Gym sucks. Amenities are crowded. Water turned off mid day often enough to get frustrated. Lots of dogs including Pit Bulls. The reason we left though, is that the rent increases are substantial. It's unrealistic and cruel to expect people to pay 5k more per year in rent. Our rent was 1390 in 2021 when we first moved in, we left when they were wanting 2100 per month. There was also 9-12 fees on top of the base rent. So expect to pay 100-200$ more on top of your rent always. Literally every month the bill was climbing higher and higher. As the reviews show, this is a common trend. Seems like 1 year tenants is the goal. Re: Our Experience was positive, it's just you priced us out. Its not just Hawthorn to blame, but Hawthorn did seem to be leaning into the rent increases and taking advantage of a nationwide increase."

"We’ve really enjoyed our time living here. Everyone in the office is incredibly friendly and willing to help. Just this last Saturday our water heater was leaking and we had no hot water. Kevin came out to fix it immediately: he replaced the water heater, made sure everything was working before he left, and he was very friendly and fast. Also have to give thanks to Vanessa in the office for setting the work order and calling to double check everything went smoothly."
