"I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ashley George for quite some time now. She’s the absolute best - always listens to my thoughts and concerns as a patient and follows through. She’s strategic with medication plans and empathetic as well as always available when I have questions - especially if I’m struggling. She is one of the best physicians I have seen in psychiatric healthcare. I am so grateful to have found Monarch Psychiatry and her!"

"As a fellow mental health professional, I am grateful to have a wonderful referral resource in Dr. Merz and her team. I have referred many patients to Monarch and they have spoken very highly of their experience. Dr. Merz and her clinical staff provide compassionate, individualized and holistic psychiatric care. I highly recommend this practice!"

"Don't ever put yourself in a situation where you're relying on Casey Pennel to authorize your prescriptions unless you enjoy being ignored until you're a few weeks deep in withdrawal edit: good move, trying to discredit the experience of someone who asked you for help. My pharmacy still does not have my prescription. Don't be fooled, these people are more concerned with their public appearance than they are with providing care, as evidenced by the fact that I was ignored until I posted the original review."

"Reasons to avoid: 1. They never (over months of requests) had faxed the requested release of information to my Doctor for his paperwork (I had to get it in person via appt instead). Communication would go dark for weeks with no updates. 2. I was supposed to finally have my first in-person appt with a PA yesterday only to arrive for my appt and the PA I was working with never put me on the schedule. 3. They kept me waiting for another PA to see me that same day only for that same appt needing to be cancelled, because they provided me completely incorrect treatment directions and now the appt couldn't proceed after waiting over an hour. 4. They charged me for the appt after it was cancelled and I saw the bill on my phone at night. I had to call the next day to alert them that the appt fell through a second time that day because the front desk woman wasn't notified and then charged me a copay. 5. After all of this they offered me a gift card on a voicemail on my phone as an apology and asked me to reconsider coming back for treatment after all of these blunders. I don't know if it was meant to come off as a bribe but it did and made me feel gross/unsafe as a patient. I have never as a patient been treated with such disregard and I would encourage anyone seeking care or treatment to look elsewhere."

"I met with Casey Pennel once and the intake appointment for medication management was fine. The issues arose when I had to reschedule and then missed an appointment, but when I attempted to reschedule Casey took 6 days to reply to an email, and then dragged an email exchange of available times until she stopped responding. I asked her if she was ending service and did not confirm, so I continued in vain to try to reschedule with her. What a waste of time. It is extremely frustrating when mental health professionals do not practice patience, compassion, and healthy communication."
