Gary Longstein: Allstate Insurance

"The agency is fine. The cost of insurance goes up every year but my house and the car are the same. I am sure, like all state-mandated private-'services', they will balk at actually helping their customers when they need it, or will find any reason not to pay a claim or damages etc. Also, they always try to upsell you on new micro insurance things, life insurances, and the private serviellance/data dragnet that is the drivewise app. They are participating in the slow extraction of wages into the FIRE sector, while literally providing 0 services save a promise to help if and only if certain conditions are met. Insurance companies are almost as bad as landlords. Other insurance companies, for whatever reason, can never match Allstate's costs though. Not sure why, since it's all a farce."

"I love my agent and his staff. They always do a great job helping me. I love when they call to remind me when my policies renew. I also had a claim and they were there to hold my hand along the way. No complaints at all! Thank you for always being there when I call."

"I switched over to this company 2 years ago after purchasing a newer vehicle. Since then I have felt spoiled. I’ve dealt with slight accidents, all in which I received free rentals and help towards (one was on a Sunday morning, someone was happy to assist me with my issue, I was worried I’d have to wait till Monday, thankfully I didn’t!). When renewing or dealing with anything, I’m always speaking to a familiar face. They don’t just confirm a renewal fee till they’ve looked over my information and find a better price if at all possible. It’s a nicely oriented business and I plan on being a member with them for a very long time! Regardless of how unfortunate situations may get, it’s nice seeing someone have my back and help me through it. I’d highly recommend."

She arranges meetings, takes notes and is the end cap that double checks to make sure your issues are addressed appropriately and handled completely.
