PCC Walk-In Wellness Center at West Suburban Medical Center 3 Erie Street, Oak Park, IL 60302

"This was my first time at this location, and I advise against investing your time here. The desk staff was fine, but the medical assistant was unprofessional and lacked basic customer service skills. Engaging with them felt like talking to a wall; don't expect even a basic greeting. After finally getting into an exam room, I waited over an hour without seeing a doctor. At no point was I intentionally checked up on or reassured that I would be seen by a doctor. The lack of urgency at this so-called "urgent" care facility was so frustrating that I walked out"

"Yes the wait is long but they are the best you can get when struggling financially or uninsured. They take care of you to best of their ability. Dr. Kim is great!!"

"So rude and crazy that they have so many phones and nobody was able to call a neurologist when someone came in with sharp pain pins and needles burning sensations vision changes. Screaming saying they don't rmember anything, that they can't retain phone calls or text messages from their phone. A doctor just screams saying it's normal saying "yes you can yes you can" clearly not when family and friends notice these changes and we hear her speech slurring over the phone and she's repeating herself over and over again. How do you get short term memory loss from one day to another."

"I wish we could give out ZEROS. I came into this PCC last night 10/26 I walked in at 6pm because my daughter was having trouble breathing due to her asthma. 4 hours later 10pm the doctor doesn’t even acknowledge us for her assistant (who was great) to come in the room and say the doctor is letting us go home because the vitals they took of my daughter 4 hours prior to us finally getting into a room was good enough for her. WORST EXPERIENCE I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. That a DOCTOR wouldn’t even bother to pop her head inside the room to talk to a concerned parent. Just got her excuse to be she is the only doctor. We are all short staffed at our jobs, we go to see doctors for doctors to diagnose or make us feel better. And if I doctor can’t perform under pressure then they shouldn’t have taken that oath ! I will never return to this facility. My daughter could’ve had a asthma attack all because that doctor was ready to go home. It was until I got upset about her performance that she wanted to then check my daughter in which I no longer felt safe letting her check my daughter."

"Really bad experience today. Took my daughters to get a Drs note for school (I understood they would need a covid test) when I told the receptionist my daughters symptoms they said they wouldn’t be able to see them because the Dr had been doing too many Dr notes for school all day (i was there at 230pm) and directed me to get The covid hotline number -the entire time with a nasty attitude after about 10-15 minutes of back and forth they finally agreed to put me in the waiting list to see the dr but she said the wait could be up to 5 hours- there were only 2 ppl in the waiting room. While we waited the nurse/receptionist said the Dr wanted to see me only. I went into this hallway with the dr for him to explain to me why I was told what I was told earlier by the receptionist. In that time my daughters could have gotten the covid test instead of me having to go tomorrow to get them tested"
