"I seen the midwife Annette the whole experience was horrible ,she was just trying to find anything and everything wrong with me and my baby, and she even said that it is ok for pregnant women to take aspirin, it is a horrible experience and will never go back there."

"Dr. Rollins is the most caring doctor we have seen. She listens to your problems and doesn't yell at you for not knowing things."

"By far worse clinic ever. I have ending stages of heart failure and this clinic will not call back to save my life. Front desk is worthless too lazy to do their job. If you have to use this clinic use Dr. Smith on division only good clinic in PCC network. Please if you feel not treated with proper care make report to Illinois department of public health so they can have complaint on record."

"Giving birth at The Birth Center was such a wonderful experience! As a first time mama that wanted to take the most natural route during pregnancy and birthing as possible, the entire midwife team was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. I transferred here from my OB at 32 weeks with such ease. They also have a Midwife On-Call number that you can literally call at anytime once you are a patient and if they don’t answer right away, they return the call within a few hours. When the day came for our baby boy to be born, we called the number and were guided to come in at the appropriate time. I was able to go through my entire birth plan with the midwives and was honored in my decision to practice Hypnobirthing, be completely unmedicated, and have my privately hired doula with me the entire time. Once baby was born, he never left my or my husbands arms. We did delayed chord clamping, and immediate skin-to-skin contact that lead to immediate breastfeeding. The team is equipped to accommodate the most natural birth while also having the facilities to accommodate emergencies should they arise. If the need to transfer to a hospital is necessary, they have an organized plan and relationship with west Suburban Hospital which is only a 7-minute drive away. Their lactation consultant, Mary Sommers, is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. She is also the teacher of the mandatory birthing class which we were able to do virtually from the comfort of our own home. Our on-call Midwife was Mary Kay who was wonderful. She was incredibly accommodating and helped keep the birthing room comfortable throughout our entire time there. Once baby was born, mom and dad and baby were all given the space to sleep in the queen sized bed and rest before we decided to when to go home. The birthing room has a tub that is a comfortable size for both mom and dad. There is also a standing shower and private bathroom in each birthroom. The entire clinic is very accommodating for family in friends who would like to wait in a waiting room that has a mini kitchenette. Biggest plus for us…this entire experience was completely covered my Medicaid. Downside…because this is a small birth center they don’t have enough funding to have an on-call on-site midwife on weekends. So had we gone into labor on a weekend, we would have delivered at West Suburban’s Birth Center. Thankfully my contractions started on Wednesday and baby came in Thursday. I would HIGHLY recommend birthing at The Birth Center of PCC South!"
