"RUN: Worst rental experience ever Frustrated to say the least. The owner of the duplex is trash and it is causing issues for me already and I have only been here for a week. I am confidently stating that I am NOT resigning next year. I have been without hot water since moving in and no one has done anything about it. The owner does not answer the phone when anyone calls. The management company calls and he doesn't answer. The construction workers on the other side of the duplex calls the owner and he still doesn't answer. I NEED HOT WATER!!! The agents and the owner of H3 are nice and I appreciate them, but at this point someone has to fix the hot water issue and just bill the owner for it because this cannot continue on. UPDATE: The agents at H3 got on the owner to get things done quickly. Got a new water heater and have had hot water ever since. Thank you to Jessica and Shawn for the good communication and checkups on progress of maintenance requests. UPDATE 2/27/24: Water meter is shared for both sides of duplex. Didn't know that until the bill was in my name and told H3 Capital about it. Been paying $30 a month since moving in. Bill received in January has $129 charge from high water usage. Called and was told that the owner would take care of it. Bill in February came still with the same charge past due. Called, was told that the owner would take care of it. Two weeks later a Disconnect Notice. Called, told the owner would take care of it and I would receive a call back. No one called back. I call, told I will get a call back. Got a text saying the water bill is my responsibility. Can't be when it is a shared water meter for a duplex and my portion is only $30. Sewer bill hasn't been paid in 2 YEARS!!! Current amount past due is nearly $900 Put in a ticket about the mailboxes needed to be replaced due to damage since day 1. Nothing replaced, it's been 5 months. Put in a ticket that mailboxes has been knocked over. Nothing fixed, it's been 3 weeks. This is my worst rental experience since I started renting in 10 years."
