"Lived here for a year when they were "new" complained about bathroom damage and grease stains, maintenance came in unannounced months later and fixed one thing leaving the grease staina. Which we were charged for when we left. Has a non refundable pet deposit, and still keeps the "refundable" portion for "pet deodorization", even after having tge carpets professiobally cleaned"

"I deleted my old post which was very negative and only gave one star. Turtle Creek in Fenton has a new manager named Jennifer. She has made a complete difference in how this property is managed. No more trashy dumpsters with furniture and trash all over. They are very clean and neat now. She addresses any problems that you may have. Tim, the new maintenance man is totally awesome. He is a very hard worker and is on top of everything. Any problem that you have is taken care of in a timely manner. The parking lot has been repaved and looks wonderful. The pool has been powerwashed and repainted. The landscaping is kept up. The walkways have been power washed. It's a very nice place to live. Kudos to Jennifer and Tim. They both deserve a raise. Please keep both these people here at Turtle Creek. Wow, what a difference."

"This was a fairly nice, upscale apartment complex when I first rented here, if on the more expensive side. However, in the single year I was here, it fell into rapid decline. Siding off the building falling apart, issues with the pool and its gate, overflowing dumpsters, poor lighting in the entryways, and a revolving door of property managers (at one point there was NO property manager and the office had to close for a few days). Let us not even speak of the amount of pet waste all over the place that irresponsible owners don't clean and a few choice racist neighbors who harassed me. But the absolute kicker is that the office STILL HAS NOT RETURNED MY SECURITY DEPOSIT after over 30 days, nor has responded to my several inquiries. Guess my next step will be to sue."

"We've lived here at Turtle Creek for 3 years and even moving to a house, we'll miss a few great features of the apartments. We especially loved the huge vaulted ceilings and tons of quality counter space. For once we actually got to design a living room concept without everything crammed against the walls. The second bedroom is also a really nice size. I will say the rapid management changes over the last few months have been difficult to follow but hopefully that gets more stable. Maintenance has always done a great job, especially from Scott. For the most part neighbors were pretty quiet but occasionally you'd hear TV through the floors and such. Overall it was a good experience but we needed to move closer to the city"

"When we first moved it was great. Unfortunately things have gone down hill quickly and turbulently. 5 people have worked in the office in less than a year. Do these apartments look nice? Yes. But at a cheaply built and poor quality cost. Do you enjoy listening to your neighbor on the phone? Do you enjoy over flowing dumpster that are overflowing with dirty mattresses and couches while dumpster divers are literally digging through your trash in the middle of the night? Do you enjoy the random people using the pool that you pay for? Do you enjoy speeding cars in the parking lot while walking your children to the car for school in the morning or evening? Do you enjoy dirty used car lots right behind the broken fence that the management company is to cheap to fix properly? Poor water pressure. Over priced water, sewer, and trash bill. Family of four is charged roughly $80a month when our single neighbor is paying $50. Do you enjoy poor communication causing lease renewal to be missed all together and you as the tenant are acting as a property manager to renew your own lease. By the way parking is terrible here even if you pay the over priced covered parking fee as there is no promised parking close to where you live. No future resident parking. The units them selves are poorly insulated so your ac will run all summer and your heat will run all winter. Do you enjoy seeing broken down wrecked cars dumped in the parking lot? Because this place has multiple of them. If this sounds like a amazing community than this the place for you."
