"I can't recommend Motivated Medicine enough! They are a wonderful practice and actually care about the health of their patients. As functional medicine practitioners, they are always looking at the root cause, which makes for much more promising outcomes than just prescribing a pill. I currently work with Valerie, but I have followed Dr. Z since her days wayyyy back in Romeoville. I have also seen Roxana, and I would highly recommend any of the 3 providers as they are all amazing. Valerie has been my most recent practitioner; she is absolutely wonderful! She really cares about her patients and works to help achieve us optimal health. She is always very thorough and cautious, working to address any underlying issues or lifestyle changes that need to occur, but she is not judgmental or critical, only encouraging. She holds you accountable without making you feel like you are doing something "wrong." I highly, highly recommend this practice. They are a private pay clinic, but you are able to use your FSA or HSA, and insurance typically covers the lab fees, so it is manageable. I'd also like to say that the office staff is so helpful, kind, and on top of stuff. They always return calls or follow up for appointment scheduling. The portal system works great.
