Since coming to Access West Chicago, I have been blown away by the affirming care & general kindness of my practioners, Mary Winnakur & Colleen Joseph. I cried today after my pap smear, because of the relief of having my pain validated & also the sadness at it taking over ten years. I have lived with debilitating menstrual pain since I was a young teen, and today was the first time my pain has been taken seriously and I've walked away feeling cared for and with a plan that can help me moving forward. Exceptional service."

"Steven Chapa, PA was very compassionate and and understanding. Which is a quality that I have not encountered in other physicians as of late. Most importantly, he listened to and understood my concerns. He did not forget that he was seeing me on one of my worst days and he eased my severe anxiety over a back injury. He was very timely in getting back to me with the results of the x-rays and subsequent referrals that I needed, and all communication in general. I can't express how grateful I am for his time and dedication to his profession. Thank you for all your help!!!"
"Went to this place was 18 minutes late was supposed to see Dr. Patel. He would not see me because I was 18 minutes late! Been in and out the hospital for months and need to see a doctor !Will never recommend them again! Glad Meagan is no longer with THEM!"
"Steven Chapa, P.A.-C at Access West Chicago Family Health Center is the best primary care physician I have ever had. Steve is attentive, comprehensive, caring, and supportive. I couldn't recommend a primary care physician more highly. If I could give it more stars, I would give them to them. I am very happy. He explains in detail any questions I have. and I love that he understands Spanish. He is very good for the Hispanic community that does not speak English. He is a good choice to choose him to be the primary doctor. I recommend him 100%"
