"Excellent training. Excellent instructor. Excellent people in the class. It is rare to find someone who is willing to share so much of their knowledge. This is the place to learn."

"These classes have been really good for my son. His confidence and fitness have improved. He really likes his Sensei and enjoys attending the classes. Sensei is great about pushing the kids enough to grow, but still have enough fun to want to come back. Great family owned and family ran business. Highly recommend."

"We have been doing the older kids homeschool classes at Haru Dojo since fall 2022. My son, 13, struggles with anxiety, so I was worried about him being able to handle this class. Sensei made him feel at ease in no time! His confidence grew and he felt more healthy mentally and physically. It has honestly been a blessing for us. My son even asked to continue going during the summer months. We are even recruiting his best friend to start this fall! Lastly, the class he is in has a mix of boys and girls around his age. I mention this because, as a homeschooler, I have signed my kids up for classes and had all little kids be in that class, no tweens/teens. It's hard to find classes that check this box for us. We are so glad we found Haru Dojo!"

"Sensei Renato is an extremely experienced and well versed Aikido and Iaido practitioner and teacher. He displays the qualities of great practical knowledge and patience. He has thoughtfully taken the Covid epidemic into account in his teaching, practicing cleanliness, sanitation, and personal protection (masks, sanitizer, etc.) Because of Covid he is concentrating more on the Iaido side of his practice but always demonstrates and explains how his teachings pertain to Aikido and still finds safe ways of teaching Aikido, as well. He is caring , patient and it is obvious that his main concern is the teaching and learning of these martial arts not the money. I've seen how great he is with his child students but I can tell you with certainty that he is an awesome adult teacher as well and recommend his dojo to adults of any age, young or not as young. He shows great personal concern for his students and it transfers to the way his students care for each other's well being and understanding of his teachings. Beyond doubt, I highly recommend him to all adults and children wanting to learn beautiful and practical martial arts from a patient, knowledgeable and understanding Sensei (teacher.)"
