"The absolute best place to learn fencing in the Woodlands! Alliance instructors are beyond top notch, which is why the head coach Andrey Geva was selected to be the U.S. Olympic coach in 2014! Alliance is such a wonderful family club with coaches that give you the same level of care and attention whether you are a beginner or an Olympic medalist. The coaches absolutely prioritize teaching proper fencing technique, which is so important when learning a sport like fencing where poor instruction can take years to undo. Proper technique is not only critical for becoming a good fencer, it also ensures athletes practice the sport safely-- without risk of injury.
