Comfort Suites Peoria I-74

"Solid hotel for a good price. Sheets and rooms were clean. Pool was nice and warm although definitely in need of some repair (tiles were missing on bottom). Nice hot breakfast. It should be noted this hotel does NOT have an EV Charger... it has an EV Charger capable PLUG (outlet). We went to this location specifically because it mentioned EV Charging and I even called to confirm and they said they "had EV Charging". This obviously means different things to different people. Make sure to bring your own or be ready to drive 30 miles to Bloomingdale because Peoria doesn't have any fast chargers."

"Just be forewarned before you stay here that the building maintenance is being neglected. The water pressure kept coming and going and completely went out for a while. My room, the main bathroom downstairs and a few other rooms of the group we were with had toilets clogging up and not flushing. The elevator did not work and there were some cosmetic items that you don’t notice at first. Staff were great, but they can’t help that someone won’t pay to have the hotel in proper shape. It wasn’t a horrible experience but if you have high standards, this is probably not the ideal place for you."

"Hotel smelled badly(weed) when we arrived, not a big issue. Elevator was broken which again, wasn't a huge issue. Friday night, we had minimal water pressure. Saturday and Sunday we had zero water. We barely had a trickle to get our teeth brushed. We were given a 20% discount for 1 night, even though, we couldn't shower the entire time. It was a stay to play tournament with odd playing hours, so we were stuck there. Had it been just maybe one issue, I wouldn't have even complained, but no water is unacceptable."

"Great stay! Clean hotel! The front desk lady, Michelle, was very helpful and accommodating. Only complaints was hair on my bed and the elevator was out of order. With a family of 8 including 2 babies that was a bit of an inconvenience. Other than that I would stay here again. My room was right next to the highway which is totally fine with me I love the noise but if that is something that bothers you then request a room on the other side of the building."

"We were very disappointed that our reserved king room smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke that we had to settle for a queen room with 2 beds. However, we were very pleased with the cleanliness, appearance, and amenities of our room. The breakfast was very varied, well-stocked, and the eggs were delicious! The staff was very helpful and pleasant."
