"Not only are they unfriendly and treat everyone like we are bums from the streets . Bathrooms are always out of order, I never understand how the employees make it ALL day without a bathroom!Nasty store! Wish my insurance didn't force me to use CVS. Hate it!!"

"On hold for 25 minutes to ask about my prescription. Never get an answer. So I have to drive 15 minutes to talk to someone about my prescription and there is only 2 people in line. Get seen within 5 minutes. Unacceptable that no one is answering phones when it’s not even busy."

"DISCRIMINATION TOWARD CUSTOMERS (AT LEAST ONE ANYWAY) BY A CVS STORE MANAGER On November 18th at around 5:50pm I entered this store to be "greeted" just inside the entrance by the manager on duty and told that I must surrender my sling (backpack, man purse, whatever) to him in order to gain entry to the store. He identified himself to me as "Matthew", although Neal Simon (the "district leader") informed me that there is no one named Matthew at that store. (According to Mr. Simon, the manager on duty that evening was the store's general manager, Edwin Barba.) When I asked "Matthew" why I needed to leave my valuables in his care he said "this is a rough neighborhood". I tried to refuse and he kind of moved into my path, so in order to placate him and try to get some shopping done I did as he directed and left my bag with all my valuables on the floor in a public area inside the store for him to "watch". I started to shop and was just so nervous about my stuff laying on the floor under this stranger's care that I only grabbed a couple of items and hastily went to check out. "Matthew" "helped" me to check out at self-serve, obviously making sure I wouldn't "forget" to ring something up. Not very subtle, "Matthew"... CVS had Neal Simon contact me about the incident, which he finally did on November 30th, about a week and a half after I reported it to them. He assured me that he would follow up with me in a couple of days, which he didn't. Finally, today (December 8th) I called him to follow up. He said something to the effect of "surveillance video doesn't show the incident" and that Mr. Barba did not recall the incident. I offered to meet him and Mr. Barba, mainly to see if Barba was indeed the manager on duty who identified himself as Matthew. He said he'd check on it and call me back. Eventually, after re-filing the complaint with CVS and trying desperately (to no avail) to get someone at CVS to contact Amanda Reed (CVS regional director) on my behalf and have her call me ASAP, I called Mr. Simon back, only to get his voicemail. I left him a message to have Ms. Reed call me immediately, and of course that hasn't happened. Mr. Simon also made mention of a meeting on October 19th of this year that was attended by Mr. Barba during which the practice of seizing customers' belongings was clearly condemned, i.e., Mr. Barba (or "Matthew") knew that he was violating his company's policy. Any way you slice it, it comes up RACISM, and CVS is currently either unable or unwilling to put a stop to it and work with me toward a resolution. THE FOLLOWING IS MY HYPOTHESIS, NOT FACT: As far as I can piece together, CVS's district leader and regional director in the Austin area seem to have "picked a side", standing behind the actions of a store manager who perpetrated an act of racial discrimination against me, gave me a false name, and quite possibly may have doctored up the store's surveillance system to cover it up. Customers be warned, the management of this store practices racial discrimination, possibly in direct opposition to CVS policy (but who knows?) and definitely in direct opposition to the rules of society. If I get anywhere with CVS Health Inc. regarding this egregious incident I will amend this review or remove it. As long as I am left without any resolution this review will stand as is."

"Love the non-pharmacy staff, but the pharmacy is utter trash. Somewhere in the CVS system they keep sending my prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy and when I try to fix this with them they insist it's the fault of my doctor. My doctor ONLY has THIS CVS on file, I in fact called them to confirm this, so the pharmacist just keeps saying my doctor's office is lying. Then she told me they couldn't transfer my scripts over yet because they were still "in process" despite CVS sending me a text telling me they were all ready YESTERDAY. So I think I know who's lying here, and it isn't my doctor's office. CVS, please fix your system, and hire people who aren't trash. In the meantime, I will be transferring all my scripts over to Walgreens."

"Update: Nov 14. Store doors locked 1:45 hrs before stated close. Update Oct 25. Store doors locked two hours prior to stated closing. Update: again the store is closed prior to posted hours. This store is a mess. So dirty and poorly maintained. At least on one occasion they closed early by at least 30 mins - with no posted emergency."
