"Our pooch passed away during an ER visit, and the staff was absolutely incredible in how they handled our situation with swiftness, expertise, and clarity. We arrived on a Saturday night around midnight with my husband carrying our 60 lb pooch in his arms. She had collapsed at home when she tried to get up for some water. Within minutes, our beloved pooch was on an examination table with a heating blanket, an oxygen mask and a drip line. We had 2 nurses and a doctor overseeing her. The doctor conducted an ultrasound and found the cause. The doctor was very clear in the gravity of the situation and the chances of survival. They ensured that our pooch was on pain meds and comfortable so that we could make the difficult decision to euthanize her. Fast forward a couple weeks and to my surprise we received a condolences card from the staff with hand-written notes. I cannot speak highly enough about VEG. They are professional, empathetic, and expert. Make sure that you have them saved to your contacts so that you are prepared for your emergency."
