"Fairly new to this vet, but they’ve taken very good care of my two dogs so far, even taking them in last minute for exams for illness or injuries. The employees are always polite and pleasant to be around, and they get us into the exam rooms very quickly. They’re also very understanding when it comes to my reactive dog and do their best to make sure he doesn’t come into contact with other animals. They also occasionally do check-ins via text after an appointment, which really makes me feel like they care about my dogs and their wellness. I definitely recommend this vet!"

"I recently took my Zelda to the vet for a check-up, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the vet was thorough and gentle with my furry friend. I felt like my cat was in great hands, and I left feeling reassured and well-informed about my cat's health. I highly recommend City-Vet South Austin to anyone looking for top-notch care for their pets."

"I'm so impressed with how well me and my two dogs were treated. From the moment I arrived and the staff member held the door to help me in, to updating me on wait, to how kind and informative Dr. VanDyke and the tech were. They loved on and praised my boys and were so tender with them and that means the most to me. Even going back to scheduling the appointment with Cece and how pleasant and accommodating she was. I highly recommend bringing your pet here."

"Super quick and friendly service from start to finish. Took Bailey in for a nail cut once I noticed that PetSmart did not (and has not been) cut one of her nails for months resulting in severe overgrowth and curling. I scheduled a nail trim via text, provided all pet information in the same text exchange, and then we came in for our visit the next day. We arrived about 15 minutes ahead of our appointment and I anticipated a wait. To my surprise, they took her back pretty quickly and she was escorted back and returned to me within minutes. They were quick and she returned seemingly unbothered which is far from her normal post cut disposition. Nail cut price comparative to the big box groomers. Will definitely bring her back."

"Dr. Shannon takes care of all my furry friends - my two cats and three dogs. She is the best veterinarian I’ve gone to in Austin. She is extremely knowledgeable, takes your animal’s health extremely seriously, and is very caring about making sure her furry patients are treated with care! South Austin is lucky to have her!"
