"Dr. Winthrow is the most caring vet. Our 11.5 year old dog had his Spleen removed last Thursday. They sent our dog home too early. He was laying in his drool and couldn’t lift his head. I panicked for good reason. Dr Winthrow calmed us down, kept him overnight for observation and gave us updates throughout the night. I’m so thankful for this earth angel. We were really scared bc our dog also has heart issues. He’s home now and looking fantastic!!! Thank you to Dr. Winthrow and her staff on Friday (3/1) night."

"I am thankful for this ER vet we found last night. We had an emergency with our 14 year old boxer that ultimately led us to putting her down. I am very appreciative of how upfront and honest they were with how we should handle things a long with how upfront they were with the cost. We had a wonderful team working with Anna last night. And I’m thankful they gave us all the time to have with our last few moment with our baby. I really hope I never have to come here again. But in the off chance I do have to come to a 24 hr vet. I’ll only be coming here. Thank you so much."

"Worst experience EVER! My dog was attacked by another dog and had open flesh wounds so I took her to the ER to get treated. We saw 3 dogs get seen (granted they were there first) but none with injuries like my dog. So once all 3 dogs got treated, I assumed my dog would be next…NOPE. We got there around 11:15pm and the vet still hadn’t seen us at 1:15am. At this point, we are waiting in the patient room to be seen. I go to the back and ask how much longer because we’ve been here for over 2 hours and my dog literally has open flesh wounds. The vet goes “sorry, we are working hard to get to you, we have in-patient animals in the ICU that need to be monitored specifically a diabetic cat who is in critical condition.” Mind you, it’s one vet on staff and 3 other vet techs. I then ask, can I have an estimated timeframe on when we will be seen? She goes it’ll be about another 30-45 minutes. Mind you, I already paid the initial assessment fee of $135. I said it’s okay, we’ll go somewhere else and asked for a refund. And then they sent a staff member up front to provide me a refund. They really didn’t want to help my pup. It was the lack of urgency and lack of care that left me feeling frustrated and helpless. And my poor pup left in pain and uncomfortable. It seemed like the vet didn’t care about my injured pup at ALL. I will say the vet tech that was assigned to us was caring and was doing everything she could to help us so thank you! I thought they would give my pup a shot for the pain or an oral medication or something to help with the pain and provide her comfort but nothing and it wasn’t until I was considering leaving that they said they would bring her to the back and start on her pain meds (after me saying something first) but at that point, I lost all trust and confidence in this place to help my pup. We left after they provided a refund. I will NEVER go to this clinic again and I would NOT recommend others to come here. What a shame!"

"Absolutely amazing ER! I came here when my baby Sebastian was bleeding internally from unsuspected liver cancer. Everyone was so kind and supportive and helped me explore all possibilities before determining it was time to help him cross the rainbow bridge. While deeply saddened, the process was smooth, cost efficient, and so caring of my situation. They even sent me a sympathy card that everyone signed and I couldn’t be more grateful. The urn I purchased came with a paw print and print of his nose and they’re beautiful. I miss Sebastian more than anything but I’m so thankful for the support of everyone here. ❤️❤️"

"This ER took amazing care of my dog and fixing him up after my dogs got in a fight with each other over treats and one had an ugly laceration on his forehead that clearly needed stitches. This happened at 9:30 at night on a Sunday so options were limited as to where I could take him. I googled and called around and landed here. The wait was less than an hour to be seen but we would have been fine if it was longer because it was not a dire emergency. They said he needed to be put under anesthesia to do the stitches which was expected and it cost about $1700. Yikes but not surprising. Thankfully this ER takes Care Credit and I have pet insurance so I’m not completely out of pocket for emergency expenses like this once I file an insurance claim and get reimbursed. The office staff, vet tech and vet were all very nice and knowledgeable and I felt at ease leaving my dog in their care. They said it might be a few hours before they were able to sedate him with other more critical patients after doing blood work to make sure he would be okay to go under anesthesia. I was able to go home and rest for a few hours instead of waiting in the lobby. They called to update on the blood work and again when he was done with the procedure and ready to be picked up. When I picked up my dog he was groggy of course but in good spirits. My dog and I are very thankful for the love and care he received."
