"We left our 5 yr old Boomer pit/mix with Miss Cat for a 21 day training stay. We received weekly texts, pictures and phone calls on his progress and hiccups. Upon picking him up we were amazed with his progress and learning abilities, especially his walking on a leash and staying in place! They really worked very hard and it showed. Boomer seemed very happy and confident. Miss Cat answered all our questions and took her time explaining the at home training to continue his work. Boomer has been doing well and is definitely more calm and definitely has more manners. Money well invested! Thank you Miss Cat and staff for doing such a great job and loving our boy!!"

"This is an absolutely amazing facility with employees that truly care about your pet! Day camp here was amazing it dog’s favorite thing! When we called to have him come for the last time, they made accommodations for him. They gave him all the love and sent him home with some wonderful goodies. Service and care like this is hard to find these days. I would recommend Kickapoo day camp to anyone with a dog!"

"This is one of the finest run boarding facilities I have ever seen. This place is nicer than some hotels I have stayed at. The dog we brought was a rescue and they made every accommodation to make sure he was welcomed and comfortable. Worth every dime to know that your pet is in a safe secure, beyond clean place on the rare occasion you have to leave your pet behind! I recommend building a relationship with Kickapoo before you need it to ensure the best transition of care!"

"I’m so incredibly FURIOUS with Kickapoo’s lack of care for their mistakes. I had never used Kickapoo before but had toured the facility. We finally decided to give them a chance as we do not board our pets or use any kennel services but since getting our Irish wolfhound puppy 7 months ago it was apparent she would likely need daycare to socialize and get in more exercise as our small dogs just weren’t enough for her to be totally fulfilled each day. Well I figured we would get our foot in the door and start with a bath to become comfortable with the kennel. Boy was that a huge mistake. I called and made the apt stating “I would like to bring her in for a bath, I’m really just looking for her to smell nice” I was then asked would I like them to also do her nails, I said “no we do that at home, just needing a bath”. I then asked them if they could do a temperament test or whatever they do to evaluate a dog for daycare as that is something we where looking into and if she was there we might as well knock that out at the same time. She said sure I have it all down in our system. I walk in, drop her off, front desk lady was very pleasant and they took her back. I come back to pick up my dog, I pay before they bring her up because how on earth could you mess up a bath. Well the groomer brings her out and when I say I was mortified to see my dog GROOMED aka scissors and clipper blades taken to my dog I could not even speak!!!!! “Oh I just trimmed up her face and feet bc she was so scraggly!” Are you _____ kidding me!!!!! No you cut all of her face hair, feet, legs, ears, feathers and I’m even debating if you cut her actual body hair! We purchased this dog from a well know breeder in the Irish wolfhound community to SHOW this dog when she was old enough!!!! We had a show in 3 months that we can now no longer participate In because they destroyed everything that is a wolfhound!!!!! Which now will put her behind in points! There is no way I can show my dog when their groomer cut her hair like a ____ doodle!!!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention it is the worst hair cut I’ve ever seen on a dog!!!!! I WANTED MY DOG TO GET A BATH!!!!! On top of it already being expensive ($80) for just a bath I was then charged $85 BC THEY CUT HER NAILS!!!!!!!! I would have NEVER paid ahead of time had I known they cut my dogs hair for NO REASON!!!! I was never informed that they even did a temperament test for daycare either as the report card give had zero info on that but did tell me they cut her nails! If you know your dog breeds you know you NEVER cut a wolfhounds hair, especially being a double coated breed!!! I had picked this puppy based off of her bone structure and the fullness of her coat!!!! I had the highest expectations for this business to only be absolutely devastated by their lack of give a dam to rectify the situation which they can’t even fix other than the basics of a refund. I called in and was informed that the manager would call me back asap, well it’s been two full days (wanted to give them the Benefit of a doubt to fix their mess up) to only hear absolutely NOTHING BACK from a manger a full TWO DAYS LATER!!!!! As a owner of 6 kennel facilities across the country myself and a previous groomer i am completely disgusted at how this was handled. I don’t understand how someone’s cuts a dogs hair that was in for a bath and when I call back insanely mad I still haven’t heard back from a manager! We will be calling the bank tomorrow morning to fix this and we will be calling the company that owns this kennel to inform them of how poorly their customers are treated when they make a mistake so grand! I’ve attached photos of the horrendous groom job that should have never happened and what my dog looked like the day before she went in. This wasn’t a case of I own a doodle and don’t brush it and now you have to shave it so it looks like a totally different dog. This is a HUGE mistake on their part of either not knowing what breed of dog I own even though it’s on her kennel card and not knowing what services to give a animal in their care!"

"Everyone was so nice and helpful. I was worried because my dog has issues with other animals and they made sure she wasn’t in close proximity to other animals. She enjoyed one on one time and private walks because she couldn’t spend time in the doggie day care."
