Best Western Plus Waller Hotel

"Very clean and well maintained hotel with friendly staff. The hot breakfast is also pretty good. I have stayed here multiple times and always enjoy it."

"Surprisingly very clean, quiet, hidden hotel. I almost passed on making a reservation at this hotel, after reading some of the negative reviews, but there aren't a lot of options in Waller. I, THANKFULLY, didnt really find anything to complain about, and my radar was up. Only issue was had to hold down the toilet handle for the toilet to flush completely (no huge deal). Not a lot of traffic at this hotel. No scenic views. There is a Shipley Donut across the street. Buckee's, Service/Gas Stations, Grocery store, a couple of Barbeque places, and a Chinese restaurant are about 2 miles away. Breakfast at the hotel was a wonderful included amenity: Good variety of delicious hot & cold foods, coffees, teas, juices, pastries... Full disclosure, I don't normally like staying at Best Western hotels; (haven't stayed in one since the '90s. I wasn't impressed back then, so never tried it again until now. I had to make a trip to Waller, and I didn't want to drive to Houston just to get a room, AND the weather was extremely bad). However, I will definitely reserve a room here when I'm in the area. It's probably the nicest hotel in Waller. Hopefully, they will keep it up."

"Newer property. Clean and comfortable. I was placed in a room next to exit snd staircase so it was a little noisy but that is to be expected. Check in easy. Desk attendant polite. Wish there were a better selection of close restaurants. Will definitely stay here again when in the area."

"Check-in is normally at 3 pm but I did not try to check in yesterday until 8:45 pm. I had had a very long day, tired, and I still had not had dinner. I had a $50 credit from Best Western to apply and the guy at the front gave me an 800 number to call to get the credit applied instead before checking me in. He would not even look at the printed email I had which had front desk instructions on what to do since my stay was not prepaid. I told him I was tired, hungry, and would just come back after dinner once I had time to call. I was finally able to get checked-in around 10:30 p.m. It ended up that the guy at the front desk was able to apply the credit. I called the 800 number and the lady I spoke to put me on hold and called the front desk to explain the process to the guy and let him know she was sending me back to him to finish the check-in process. Normally I would give a lower rating in this case but I appreciated that in the end they guy at the front desk took accountability for the mistake before even checking me in the second time. He was very genuine and empathetic to the fact that I was tired and checked me in as quickly as he could. You could tell he had already called the front desk to get further instructions on how to best assist me when I came back in. So he was ready to make the process as seamless as possible. The suite I got was amazing! Very spacious and each queen bed had its own TV. I slept very well and the beds were very comfortable."
