"I've had an incredibly troubling experience with Fig Loans, which has raised serious concerns about their operations and security measures. During an investigation into identity theft linked to an account supposedly opened in my name, the company's lack of transparency and cooperation was astounding. First off, it's nearly impossible to reach them for urgent matters as they have no working business phone number listed. When trying to obtain essential information about the company, such as their EIN, licensing details, or even the headquarters address, my questions were met with evasion and outright refusal. The process of handling sensitive information is alarmingly insecure. There's no secure portal for the submission of critical documents like social security numbers, court documents, or police reports. This lack of basic security infrastructure is a red flag for anyone concerned with privacy and data protection. Moreover, the company refused to provide any specifics about the fraudulent account created under my identity, including the loan amount, the method of the loan, or any details of the communication used to establish this account. Their unwillingness to share information that could aid in resolving the identity theft issue is not only frustrating but also highly suspect. The overall impression is of a company that operates with a concerning lack of security, transparency, and accountability. Such practices are not only unprofessional but likely in violation of multiple finance laws. It's clear to see how a fraudulent account could be so easily created and mishandled under their watch. I strongly advise anyone to think twice before engaging with this company, as their practices are far below the standard expected in the finance industry."

"I cannot recommend Fig loans. There was a time I was a great longtime customer of Fig, always paid my loans. Then one day I got an email from Fig stating I should apply for a larger loan (changing the limit from 500. to 800.), and if I had a current loan, they would just re-finance, etc. So I applied. They responded with well, we would like to see you pay your current loan off 1st, so I did (only had 1 payment left). Then an email saying no, we will not approve you for a new loan, even the original amount of 500. ceiling. I was dumbfounded. I had been a good faithful customer for a long time, nothing had changed for me, so there was no reason for this. Before this mess I would have given them 10 stars, now less than 1."

"I've used their services for about 5 years. Sometimes my payment date was not on a good day and they were great about rescheduling. Paid off my last loan and inquired about when I was eligible to apply for another and they pretty much said "go away". Am shocked and disappointed. Never any issues before now in getting a loan. I don't have any qualms in giving them a bad review after this. Will never recommend them again."
