Petco Grooming

"Brought my dog in for a wash only via appointment. First off, they were late opening the store. I did him drop him off with an upsale on nail trim and teeth brushing. I get a call 20 min later saying they cant wash him because he's being too active. When I go to pick him up they inform me they did do his nails and brush his teeth. I'm a little angry, So i just paid and left. When I got home I noticed they didn't do his nails because he scratched the hell out of my foot. When I checked his nails, neither one looked trimmed at all. Then I checked his breath and teeth, nothing changed their either. So I paid for two services that they didn't do??? Nope, never again."

"My appointment was on time, and my dog was finished in less than 3 hours. Her cut was just as I wanted it. The staff was pleasant, courteous, helpful, and friendly."

"Dropped off my pet at the scheduled appointment time, 30 mins later after I left the store I received a phone call asking were we still coming in. The phone call scared me at first thinking someone either walked off with my fur baby, lost him, etc. About 20 mins later I received a phone call from the groomers Celita saying she was unable to groom my dog due hyper-active. Such an inconvenience because before I left the store I asked how long would it take to complete the process and was told 3-4 hours. Figured I could take care of errands in the meantime. Apparently she's in the wrong profession, if your an experienced dog groomer I'm pretty sure my puppy wasn't the first you've groomed. When booking my appointment most important questioned are asked prior to confirming an appointment such as breed, weight, age, etc. My puppy is only 3 1/2 months so more then likely he's going to be super hyperactive due to being in a new environment and surrounded by new faces. I came back to the store and the groomer really was going to send my dog home with 1 strip shaven down his back. Unacceptable! I asked to speak with Lloyd the store manager who seemed very welcoming and helpful which then in turn asked the lead groomer Alexis if she was capable of completing the job. Alexis was helpful in completing the grooming, I actually stood there as she started the process on his back and he wasn't as active until she started around his facial area. Alexis said she had it from there and she would be done with the process in 45 mins. I left the store and 45 mins later I received a call from Alexis saying the grooming process was complete. I'm still confused as to why Celita caused all the inconvenience and Alexis was able to complete the grooming process with confidence.
