Hand selecting the betta I wanted based on appearance was a delight. The website does a great job of explaining how shipping works and why they only ship on certain days. My order was placed on a Friday, shipped on the following Tuesday, and arrived Thursday. The shipping box was so, so carefully packaged to ensure maximum safety for my little guy. The heat pack and the interior were still nice and cozy warm even after two days. My betta arrived in literal perfect condition. Peak health, not a scratch on his body, nor a tear in his fins. He is also every bit as vibrant and colorful as his picture showed. I've had him for almost a month now and he is still in excellent health, proving the high quality of Betta Squad's stock. "A great selection of Betta fish, and they package their fish very well. My only complaint is that they did NOT follow their own shipping policy. They say they only ship orders out on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. They shipped my lovely female Plakat Betta out on a Friday, and she ended up in the mail chain for a full week due to weekend delays. She did, however, arrive safely despite these delays. If you order, which I won't recommend against, specify that you want the fish shipped early in the week, or they may ignore their policy, ship late in the week, and it get caught up with the mail carrier."

"Received a very healthy active betta. James Pond is always exploring his tank and gets excited to see me. I did have him shipped to me and paid for the fastest shipping. I was a little worried with the Texas heat. He was packaged well and made it safely. I like that you know the age of the fish. I received the one I ordered. Original fish I picked out had dropsy symptoms so I was given the option to choose another. Appreciate Betta Squad making sure I received a healthy betta. Highly recommend ordering from Betta Squad. Will buy from again and skip the pet store in the future."
